Brenda,
I'm so glad you're back! You're reports are on the top of my favorites list!
I'm so glad you're back! You're reports are on the top of my favorites list!
Plankton sent you a post card? That sneaky little bugger...he better not be threatening you or I'll have to leave him behind for Grimace to babysit in October.
We may have been seperated at birth. Although I won't tolerate a tomato in it's solid form in any way.
Add to the list a love of pickles but can't stand cucumbers & onions must be cooked never raw.
Never done mustard on pizza but potato chips add a nice crunch
Brenda, your review is great as always! Can't wait for more!
Oh, and can you please tell me where you ordered your champagne basket?
I have always ordered from www.disneyflorist.com . They have lots of other baskets too.
Hi Brenda!
Thanks for the update. I have to be quick, as I still have an in-law invasion , but yes, we had an awesome time at Raglan Road. Thanks again for the recommendation! (It will be Day 4 in my report, will do Day 3 tomorrow once the company's gone.)
Your treats look fabulous! Good work. C.E.
YOU ARE BACK!!!! woohooo
just in time Miss Brenda..to psych me up again for disney dining
Hoo yeah! Brenda's back, Brenda's back!! Just like during your last edition of food porn, (and booze porn! Woot!) I'm here at my computer snorting out my diet pepsi all over the keyboard and sharing random quotes with my husband:
'I wheeled around faster than you can say "I swear I'm not drunk" '
"Hey, I'm not the one who walked into the wrong bathroom."
and of course,
"Stay off the West Side!!"
Looking forward to lots more!!
Sonia
How much did the basket cost?
It's terrific! I bet he loved the candy cake; it's a great idea!
Subscribing!!
2 days back and already 7+ pages?!?!?!?
Good! I'll have some reading to do after these kids go to sleep! I'll be right back!
OMG Brenda! Those baskets look awesome!! I can just imagine how many arms and legs they cost you! I don't even wanna know!
About the RFC, here's the post from my live trippie with pics from when we first ate there. It was SO good! I have another visit there planned for October 14th, so I am REALLY hoping that I am not disappointed.

Looking forward to all the surprises!!!
Oh and YES!!! Happy belated Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!
It'll be our 8th anniversary during our trip in October! ... the baskets are a nice touch
Bonny
Love the surprises!
How much did you say that basket was?
Brenda,
Your food report is great, my mouth is watering for the Raglan Road dinner....my DH and I vowed to never go back there again due to a double charged bar tab on our CC, but we may need to break that vow the next time we are there.
Can't wait to hear about the other surprises on your trip.
Thanks again for the great reports and everything else.
RC
Oh Brenda, you never cease to entertain!
Too much to quote, so I'll just throw a few tidbits out there:
1. The men's room? That's fantastic!
2. Love sundae breasticle shot! Very hot! And I think DM (Disneyolic) and I are related, as I toggled up to look at the picture of you as I read the post, too! There's something very disturbing with that!
3. Added mental note to remember to get a drink bucket. It sounds like an adult Happy Meal! (Hmmmm I need to rethink the dancing banana for this post, no?)
4. Love the baskets! Very sweet!
5. I do miss hearing about Grimmy! How is she these days?
6. Yup, I'm a yellow mustard kinda gal, too. But you might try equal parts of mustard and ketchup. Very yum-o!
Ok, I'll just sit and wait for the next installment!
Your report is wonderful. I love your writing style, its very entertaning . I'm looking forward to your review of Chefs de France as I'll be there in September.
Keep the amazing dining report coming.
Those baskets look fabulous! That's my kind of birthday cake! Good call on the champagne, too! Glad to see Plankton was able to make the trip. I'll be getting DS in on this report.
We may just end up doing most of our dining in Oct. at the food and wine booths! I keep finding these great drink pictures and e-mailing them to my husband, "Doesn't this look great?" and "We HAVE to try this in October!" So my parents and kids may be fending for themselves as DH and I roll around the WS!
Brenda, that "cake" looks yummy! Oh and Happy Anniversary!
You know, when I saw Plankton in that photo, I almost started cheering. Plankton=good times...yes, I know I'm weird.
Kiki
I am sitting here wondering how in the WORLD I missed the fact that you had started a new dining report Jeez, I am really behind on stuff around here! Stupid work getting in the way of my reading dining reports. Anyway, you're doing a fab job as always Brenda. You are the queen of reports, dining or otherwise. Can't wait to read more!
I love the Birthday "cake". I did that one year and it is so cute! DH and I have also done the gift basket with the Fairy Tale Cuvee. That was a very nice evening in! BTW, your icecream pics made me go out and buy Haagen Dazs- Caramel Cone and Bailey's Irish cream.
The reviews and pictures are great so far! I can't wait to hear about the rest of your dining adventures.
Those baskets are amazing, the cheeseboard and knife are so cute and Lindt chocolate My absolute favourite it was on offer today at the supermarket so I just had to buy some
I loved your surprises! I didn't even think to ask you how much they cost until you said, "Don't ask how much this cost." Now I want to know! Thanks a lot!!
I knew I wasn't the only one that disturbingly went back to look for the flashing! Thanks for admitting it DLM! Remember, I have a bunch load of cousins out in Southern California - we may just be related and just don't know it!!!
Oh, and deep down, I think Brenda wanted us all to check out her cleavage! hee hee!
This reply is a bit late, but I'd have to agree with everything you said about Ghiradelli's ice cream. I went there a few times when I lived south of San Francisco. The ice cream they have is definitely underrated, especially when paired with their brownies and the chocolate chips they make. Mmmm.
Well, then, let us crack open a beverage (okay, who am I kidding - my 4th cup of coffee this morning ) and enjoy the hijinks, shall we??
Those baskets look amazing! I love my Rosa Regale, but have to agree champagne was in order!
I'm wondering to self, how did I miss 8 pages of an oybolshoi review?!!!
Brenda, loving this!! You are going to force me to add a Raglan Road ADR to my next trip. If not just for the beer, but oh that lamb looked so delish too!
Gotta agree with Tigerkat on the Rosa it's yum, but then again so is the Iron Horse! Well as you can see I'm like my drinks. I totally understood you're drunken mumbling, didn't even notice it was drunken mumbling!
What did the plate under Jason's cake look like? Don't get me wrong I love my chocolate, but eventually it's gone and you're left with...the plate. Did it at least have on it?
Glad I found your reviews. Great sense of humor and love the pics. I now really , really , really want some ice cream and maybe a beer. (not together!!!!)
I am still trying to catch up on the "shrubbery" tr. (also quite amusing)I haven't had enough dis time recently.
Brenda, welcome back! The anniversary basket looks great! Fairy Tale Cuvee is about the only champagne I actually like, so I approve I love the wine glasses and the cheese board too
Looking forward to more!
Love your reviews. I want to know how much the cake cost. Too cute.
Brenda,
I'm so glad you're back! You're reports are on the top of my favorites list!
Loving your report! You're hilarious, girl!
Oh, and can you please tell me where you ordered your champagne basket?
Or better yet, send him on a Western Caribbean Cruise with those crazy Konked Kruisers. That'll teach him!!
Crunchy onions.
I had an idea years ago to make a spray-on onion and pepper flavoring that could be put on pizza to make it taste like a supreme without that annoying onion/pepper crunch.
My ideal pizza would be a supreme with all the annoying veggies picked off for you before serving.
If any of you can make that idea work, you are welcome to it. Just send me free samples when it hits the stores.
So far, so good! The gift basket/candy bar cake looked awesome! I bet Jason was surprised. I am now convinced we have to try Raglan Road... without the kids.
Keep it coming!
-Michelle
Slightest of hijacks, but sort of on topic:
I went to an Irish pub/restaurant here in NH just a scant hour or so ago. I went to take one of my kids to the restroom, and, though there were signs in English way high above the doors, the actual plaques on the doors were in Gaelic (as far as I know, I certainly can't be sure!)
The women's room said "Mna" and the men's room, "Fir". I think. But anyway, one of my sons was convinced that I was taking him into the men's room, since it started with an M and had three letters.
Just thought you might like to know...
I have always ordered from www.disneyflorist.com . They have lots of other baskets too.
Did I miss it somewhere? Those baskets are amazing. We are going in July and it will probably be our last big vacation together (my twins are going to be seniors in the upcoming school year so they most likely will be too busy working for college $$ next summer - I hope) I would like to do something silly but special for each of them to deliver to our room.
Loved the gift baskets! How nice to have a picture of you and Jay together with your anniversary basket. Did Plankton take the picture?
"Was that you on the West Side?"
"No, Cookie, I swear! I'm afraid of you!"
Hi Brenda! Glad you're back and hopefully feeling better!
Woohoo, Brenda's back with another awesome tale of culinary adventures!! Just a thought hun, you might be well advised to post spew advisories at the top of your posts ... just as a public-service kinda thing, you know?
Subscribing and can't wait for the next installment!
I loved the baskets. I bet just as many people looked up the price to your basket as did going back to see Brenda cleavage. I know I did. I swear your trip reports are number one on my list. Now I am off to find the pics of your mom....
Danielle
OMG!!! That's totally what it was... "FIR" ... it still doesn't explain anything except that I probably saw the letter "M" and chose the other door by default. Yes...that's exactly how it happened...
Thanks, C.E.!!
As for weird...last time I checked Jay and I were two middle-aged "adults" wandering around WDW with a stuffed Plankton...now that's weird!
Not that it matters but I don't like onions either...
Yes, they were great, weren't they? We ended up trying the Rose Regale at Victoria and Albert's and it was pretty damn good, but champagne will always be my favorite, especially for an anniversary.
Hi Shovan, thanks for dropping by to take a read! Raglan Road for Flying Fish seems like a fair exchange. Thanks to your review we dropped BlueZoo and replaced it with FF the night before our anniversary dinner - it was awesome!!
I think this may be why we're all congregating on the same threads!
And Now for Non-Restaurant Related Food of a Fun and Celebratory Nature...
Mickey cutting board and cheese spreader...so cute!
