I am expecting John to sleep the cruise away!! He is usually bad on holiday, particularly in the US. I tend to wake early and go for a coffee letting him sleep in a bit, but 8am is just about the absolute limit! The holiday goes quick enough as it is!:lmao: However, we do tend to go to bed earlyish. I think the dinner will go on a bit , so it may be a walk, like you, and then bed.
Hey! I thought we were going to watch midnight movies together! :rotfl:

Do any of you what "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE?" -

Was just curious as to what you thought about the results? I really really wanted DANNY or Lacey... I still think Sabra was excellent, especially since she's only been dancing 4 years! But I thought the other two were better "all around" and "performers". IMHO of course. :dance3:

Thanks Ella, I actually was reading a Harlequin smut book and the authors name was Bethany LOL I just thought with our last name being Brittingham that it would go but now everyone calls her brittany for that. She is my 2 lb miracle and it actually means "house of God". She is 9 going on 40 as Holly can atest too and yes she'll be coming on the cruise. Tyler is usually her dance partner so shell be bummed . Holly has a cute picture of her and tyler dancing that maybe I can get her to post.

No, I dont have a tshirt yet but dont want to be left out so let me know.

I definitly need to join the champagne girls but Im surprised Holly hasnt started the " beer girls ":rotfl:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: None of the girls here seemed interested in beer, but I DID ask if I can be an honorary Beer Boy! :lmao:

I'll definitely post pics of Bethany & Tyler together later. Have to go up to school to switch some things around on my class schedule for next semester, then head out for dinner & drinks (if anybody shows up---most people had to cancel).

So how does one become a Champagne Girl? Hmmm Palo's - brunch YUMMY!

OH - I forgot to tell you all... my friend who has a time share in PV said they did a great HORSEBACK ride - and she's going to get the info for me to share with you for a possible excursion there - if anyone is interested.

:surfweb:

For me, it was always easier to get the kids on the plane and let them nap on the plane. That way if we go to where ever we were going by bedtime, the kids would fall asleep and in the morning be up raring to go where ever tp start our vacation.
That's a good point too. But he doesn't sleep on planes anymore. Now he's just too excited every time we fly somewhere! Hmmmm.....still trying to figure things out. First I have to get my water heater problem straightened out. It's so expensive, so I asked about not putting in another gas one and switching to electric. They told me that would eliminate some of the expense, but now I'll have to hire an electrician too. :sad2: I just can't win. Can't figure this one out. Hey, maybe I'd better buy a lottery ticket today! :rotfl2:

Maybe rub a little (or a lot) of rum on his gums? That will knock him out - OH NO, that's for teething... (can you tell I don't have kids! - and shouldn't?)

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :cool1:

Ughhh, it's only 2pm the afternoon is dragging!

BTW - Love your trip reports and you have such lovely eyes - hope that's not creepy... one never knows if giving another woman a compliment is creepy or not. (I'm not... well, not in THAT way anyway!):lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Thank you!!

guess what John wants for dinner......

yep, steak!

He says are you steaked out? Um, a little dear! Oh well, I am still full from lunch I can't even think about eating but a nice fruit salad would be good.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: What did you have for lunch today?! You're cracking me up!

Guess what! I just got the best deal in the world! I went up to school to price my books for next term the total is $421.88 for new books and $359.34 for used. Then I came home and checked on textbooks.com and half.com and ebay, but that didn't cut the cost much. THEN I went to amazon.com and wound up getting all my books for $70.05 TOTAL!!!!!!!! Granted, most are last year's edition, but they don't change enough from one edition to the next for it to affect what I need for class. YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :yay:

So everybody cancelled on me for going out tonight. :sad1: But it's OK because I'm really enjoying the weather and am sort of glad I'm not going to be inside the restaurant! This is the first day almost all summer that it's been cool enough to turn off the air conditioning and open the windows to get some fresh air. It's only in the 70s today and supposed to be the same tomorrow, getting down to 47 overnight tonight. Sunday it's only supposed to get up to 68! SO NICE to not be all hot and sweaty finally! And it's really, really windy today. As the wind blows by my face, it smells just like spring! Sounds crazy, but it's just so peaceful! Either that or I'm just that euphoric about having a break from school. :goodvibes

I'm strange and don't like popcorn, but I did decide I'm going to go rent a couple movies (I have 2 free rentals from Blockbuster) and get Chinese takeout! Yummy!

Ooooh afternoon naps on the cruise- since we have 15 nights, I might have time to sneak a couple of these in. DH LOVES to get in naps onboard. He finds that the ship can rock him right to sleep.

Deb- I hope you don’t run out of antibiotics.. that sounds scary!

Holly- EXCELLENT deal on books! I spent so much money on law school books, some of them I never even opened (but you didn’t hear that from me!) I can’t wait until it gets cool enough around here to just open the windows like that. I LOVE laying in bed with the windows open, but it’s been hot and humid all summer for the most part, and I don’t do well with humidity—of course Panama will be SUPERhumid, but I’ll deal.

It’s great that we have so many dancers onboard! I danced from age 2 until college, when I was teaching some classes, but ran out of time for it in law school. My sisters both dance, particularly the 17 year old.

I was glad that Sabra won SYTYCD. Danny was a very good dancer, but not masculine enough for me. I got tickets to take my sisters to the concert when they come to town and am actually pretty excited about seeing it!

We were hoping for some rain today, but it didn’t happen. The highlight of my day was getting a check for $47,000!! Of course the money isn’t for me. I’m just holding it in escrow for a client. It was still nice seeing a check that large with my name on it.

We’re in for the night, and I offered to order pizza for everyone, so we can be lazy and watch HS Musical 2 together.
