He was waiting at the bottom of the escalator by valet parking.

WILDEOSCAR now knows he has won the cruise.

Hi Guys, Six hours ago I left my house on a mission. What a night it was at Universal. Has Wild Oscar charged his phone yet? Does he know when he was standing with me waiting for the parade he was standing about 100 feet from Pete. Does he know not two minutes after he left me that Corey and Julie showed up at my location. What a night we had. I will be blogging tomorrow about the whole night. I can give you a hint about my blog. Number one is about Universals bathroom episode. And those crazy people that I wrote about during my Shuttle blog. Some of those people were at Universal tonight. Read more tomorrow.

Oh I will say Wild Oscar learned a valuable Podcast lesson tonight. When in the parks battery conservation is the most important thing. Oscar always bring a charger with you so you can plug in to recharge.

God my legs hurt!!! I started my day being dragged to the 'Central Florida Plant Show' at 10am - and finished it by orbiting Universal trying to give away a cruise. Fodder for the blog.

I will say this though - had I known just HOW busy Universal was going to be tonight, I would have picked a different night. In all the years I've been going to Universal, I've NEVER EVER SEEN IT THIS BUSY!! It was so bad, it took 1 1/2 hours to get home (most of it sitting in traffic within a half mile of Universal).

Oscar wins it fair and square - he was the first to find me. I still can't believe he drove from Ohio for this!! Well, you're goin' on a cruise Oscar!!!

Took a break to watch Enchanted with the children as promised. SO GLAD to come back to this news! Way to go WO!

When did he leave from Ohio? I'm in Ohio too and even though I'd LOVE to win the Podcast cruise, I can't imagine making the drive from here for it.
(I'm a big believer in the magic of air travel!)

Whew...I just got caught up on all the pages in this thread! I took my kids and their friends to see Drillbit Taylor tonight and missed all the fun. I have to admit there were several times during the movie that I was thinking to myself about the time difference between WA & FL and wondering how the hunt was going.

Something else that really screwed me up, I was keeping an eye out for two guys over 6'5 as I figured Kevin and John woul dbe easy to spot in the crowd. They were at home.

Are oscar and Bob together?

Ya know, Bawb is(was) easy to find... the cart parked up againt the rope with tri-pods and cawrt kahm. So I was also keeping an eye out for him, but the first time I spotted him coming in the entrance, he basicly went the opposite direction of the concert stage. Well he was there to film the parade.

I kept looking near the stage area, but it was starting to get dark. And I tell you once it got dark, it was crazy packed. There were fences up, so that you could get to 5 yards from the bathroom, then the security guards would not let ya though to get to the bathroom. I am guessing on most nights the park does not reek of beer, or maybe it does. The smell I am going to associate with all of this is the smell of poeple drunk on beer.

So, when I found Bawb about a 45 min. before the start of the parade, it was while I was walking around the middle of the roped off street, when I was starting to just give it up.
