OK - I know I am still tired... I read this as "they come in and they nurse"
o that was great !!
There must be something wrong with me

...I HATE shopping for clothes. I hated shopping when I was thin & I hate it when I am um..not so thin.:rotfl: I figured I really should have more clothes than just Mickey Mouse tee shirts so I went to the mall to look around. I spent over 2 hours in Macy's, Sears, & some assorted stores & all I came home with was a black pair of capris. Nothing appealed to me..everything is either "too young" or "too old" looking to me. Wish I could just buy clothes on line but I am never sure of the fit. Everyone else looked like they were enjoying shopping
5.gif
..but not me... hate it, hate it! Now if I was shopping for Disney merchandise, then thats a different story.
I hate shopping for clothes too...everyone laughs at me because i would rather be in and out of the store in 5 minutes rather than shoppinga nd trying on and ugh!

Bernadette, your pictures are incredible, as always. I especially like the ones of Wishes, with the silhouette of Walt and Mickey in them.

Where did you find the Club Penguin display? My kids will be thrilled to see that.

Bernadette - I got Day 1 and Day 3. Is there Day 2?
You should have it now. I don't know why it didn't go through last night-I remember at least starting the "share" but then I had to fix my "group" as some of the emails were no longer valid so I guess it just didn't go through.

So that mom from ballet? I swear, I really do hope they have a good time at WDW.

Today she says they are staying at POFQ (or maybe POR). That was the only resort with a room. Well, yeah, when you call 18 freaking days beforehand! :scared1: No ADRs except that lunch at LTT. But they will order room service for breakfast. Um, NO, you won't, because mods do not HAVE room service. But they will be on the monorail. Um, NO, you WON'T! So she says she thought I said it was on the monorail. NO. I said GF is on the monorail because she said it looks nice. She said her DH won't pay the prices at GF. Well then, NO monorail!

I have to wonder what else she thinks that she hasn't said out loud. She seems to have a LOT of wrong ideas, and that will not make for a good trip.
That sounds like a diaster!!!! I bet she doesn't realize that LTT has NEVER had characters at lunch.

I should already be in bed. It was a whirlwind afternoon. It was pouring, but Lacrosse happens in the rain  Hunter had a game at 4 PM in a nearby town so we had to leave as soon as the boys got off the bus. It poured, thankfully we had rain suits so we stayed dry, cold but dry. The refs didn't show up so Chris had to ref the first half of the game and the opposing coach refed the second half. We lost :sad2: That game got over around 5:40 and we rushed to get Nick to his game at our home field. He needed to be dressed for warm ups and at the field by 6. We made it. Dinner was subs that I had made and brought. Nick ate during Hunter's game and the rest of us ate while he was warming up. Nick's game started 15 minutes late as we had to wait for the refs. That game ended around 8:15 so we got home to start baths and homework around 8:45 PM. I now have everyone in bed and I need to get there too. Nick's team won their first game The final score was 9 - 3.

Nick had a letter in the mail tonight. The teachers have selected him to be an usher for the 8th grade graduation. He will also get to attend the graduation dance. It is a big honor, but Nick isn't too sure about it. He isn't really into the dance thing and the graduation sounds more like work than fun. Hopefully when he tells his friends they will make him think it is a good thing.
:woohoo:Congrats to Nick on his win. Congrats to him being selected by the teachers to be an usher!

Me too, please!
Sent days 1 to 7-still need to add comments to day 8 and upload Joe's photos.

Kelli - Have a wonderful trip and tell Mickey I'll be right behind ya!
Are you packed?;) Does Brandon not know about the trip?

SO they found a couple of Polyps in Grandmas colon but not the source of the bleeding. She was doing okay when I left work. They will have her swallow some pills in the morning that will put dye in her small intestines as they could not see that area with the colonoscopy today. Thanks for all the prayers and hugs
Continued prayers for your Grandma.:wizard:

I've been up since 4:30...to do what?!?! WORKOUT! The world may come to and end today!! Last night at GS's I was talking to my girlfriend and she told me I needed to come over and keep her company while worked out. So the plan is MWF from 5-6am. Maybe, just maybe, this will be the boost I need. I've been stalled at 40lbs for a while now. And as much torture as it was, it was fun to have someone to suffer right alongside of me!
:eek:Good luck with your new plan!:wizard:

Today I had planned to design and print about 200 certificates for our Awards Banquet at the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs' annual convention next week. However, I have not yet received the names of the winners from our state president. I have called her twice over the past two weeks and also emailed her. Turns out she is not reading her email and "kept meaning to get them in the mail to me" but she kept forgetting.
Unfortunately, if they don't come today or tomorrow there may not be any awards to award! Unlike many of the other state officers I work for a living. I have to teach all day Monday and Tuesday and need to leave here Wednesday morning by 10:00 in order to be at the Finance Committee meeting by 1:30. The only other option would be for me to pack up my printer and laptop and do the work in my hotel room after all the meetings are over and when I should be sleeping. I am not a big fan of that option. :sad2:
Bringing a printer is NOT an option!

I am 90% packed....last minute running around today. May be a soggy trip as I see rain EVERY day we are there!! :headache:
That is what I was seeing for a forecast too and we didn't get any rain. Have a great trip!:wizard:

so I think Jim is a)trying to get me to hurt him or myself and/or b) lose his job:headache::headache:

He acted like a 2 year old who didn't want to share "his" toys (which isn't really his) embarrassing the girls and I in front of company. Then when I talked to him about it.....he spent 1 and 1/2 hours spewing baloney. I finally told him I was done because I had to get up and once again do things that he didn't do.

Sooooo.........I get up (after he slammed the door on his way out at 5 AM) and he is asleep on the couch.:mad::mad::mad:

If I should be on later....make sure I haven't hurt him and that I've gotten some of the extra cleaning done.
:hug:How frustrating! How about we both kidnap our husbands and bring them over the state line so we can go to the same federal prison? Mine is being a piece of work lately too. He's home alone for 6 hours a day without the kids. Last night at 9:30pm he tells me he has a dentist appointment in the morning. I told him it would have been nice if he gave me advanced notice so I could have mentioned it to my boss. He gets mad at me and walks out the door.:headache: Why can't he go to the dentist during the school day? OH...that might mess up his day.....:rolleyes1 I didn't even mention that.

I went shopping before my trip and tried on something like 20 things-tops, shorts, jeans....HATED everything!!!!!!!! I do like to shop for my toys and other people though.

I could do that, Beth... but then they will look crummy. Her handwriting is atrocious! :rotfl:
NOT your problem!

Bernadette,
Love your pictures...you have so many great shots.
Thanks! I wish I took more. I want to go back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bernadette, your pictures are incredible, as always. I especially like the ones of Wishes, with the silhouette of Walt and Mickey in them.

Where did you find the Club Penguin display? My kids will be thrilled to see that.
Thanks! I like those Wishes pics too-never thought to stand there before.

Club Penguin was after Toy Story Mania but before the Back Lot tour. My kids haven't tried Club Penguin but want to try it now! The characters were super cute-they stamp-not sign.

Heading to my MILs tonight. She has a lot that she wants help with - no idea what that is yet but we want to help her out.

It sounds like it is time for her to go into assisted living or a nursing home. Or perhaps you could find someone to rent a room from her, that way someone (non family) would be around and she wouldn't worry so much about you guys finding her some day. Obviously the day will come and someone will find her :confused3

I think if we get all her health issues resolved, she really is ok on her own. She just has to realize that death is just part of the life cycle. She doesn't want to live in assisted living and really doesn't need to except for her worry that someone will have to find her. I'll get some more info from her today and tomorrow.

Bernadette - I am really enjoying your pics! :goodvibes
Ballet Mom knows there are no characters at LTT lunch because we told her when she booked. (She called from her cell phone at ballet last week.) Another mom from ballet is also DVC so we do our best to correct the wrong ideas the other one has. :sad2: Since the recital is tomorrow we won't see her after she gets back. Which is sort of a shame. :rolleyes1

Anne Marie I feel the same way, this is why many of my clothes I have had for years. The styles that are out now just do not do anything for me. Makes shopping a not so pleasant experience anymore :sad2: When I do find something I like I buy it in different colors

I just made one of my students day-- and it feels great! A few of my kids play little league together and one of the moms sent in a flier for another mom about a fundraiser they were having--it was at chickfila-a portion of the check goes to the little league..So i just went with my mom and one of my kids was there..he came running out of the play area with a huge smile and jumped on me! He was so excited to see me--His mom said I absolutely made his day :goodvibes:

Bernadette I am still looking at your pictures. With two X box lives & Gary constantly down loading something, my laptop goes at about the speed of a turtle sometimes

Well you know that I am not a type A, but I can organize like nobody's business, it makes my family jealous.

I'm also a Type A personality. I handle it by having a checklist of everything that we need to pack for trips. We pull that out several weeks in advance and start going through and making sure we have everything. It only takes about 2 hours to pack. We keep everything for Disney that we don't use reguarly in a box called Disney. I also keep things in the same place for the most part.

Theresa and Bernadette, hope your husbands get their act together soon.

My John is so together, but I think that has to do with having an alcoholic father and having to throw him out of the house with the help of his brother when John was only 16. His dad had a fight with his mom and pulled a gun.

Kristine in case I miss you, I hope you & Bill have a fantabulus time!

Thanks guys :)

Pretty much ready to go....

much easier to pack for only 2
