Leaving soon, added pics link post #145

Welcome back Wayne.

Loved all the food reports, especially Mannys?? Is that the one with the great steak?

I was showing it to my husband, saying, "Looks great, but it's a bit off the beaten track. Can't be arsed making that journey" He was like, "We're going!" :rotfl:

I think the best steaks we had were Mannys and Logans Roadhouse.

Pics of our last meal I never got around to posting. Texas Roadhouse, Started with Baby blossom onion(they do 2 sizes, bigger one is too much for 3 people), then we all had Ceasar salad, I had Ribeye & Ribs combo, Matt had Portabello Mushroom chicken and Karen had Smothered chicken and a cocktail, Texas Peach fuzz (1st drink she has ever bought I believe in 16 years of Florida trips) & 2 sodas, total $57.

Created a folder for pics on Photobucket There are 2 pages in there. Not many to choose from this time, never taken so few pics.
Haven't put a desciption on just a title so ask if you want to know anything.

Really enjoyed your updates Wayne and glad to hear about Logans since this has been recommended to OH by her colleague. :)

I saw someone get a rack of ribs, they looked great. No doubt we will be back to try something else.

Chef Wayne? Info, please!
Matt wanted me to buy the hat and bowl/jug, I tried it and saw what a fool I looked so didn't bother.:goodvibes

Hope Matt doesn't read this, don't be saying he is getting cuter, his head is big enough just now:rotfl2: just come top of school in GCSE History and chosen to be a prefect yesterday. Waiting to find out if he gets to be head boy now.

Manny's that's the one! Off to find directions from WH. That onion looks a bit nice too. Need to lose 10lbs so I have space to gain when I go!
I need to lose 10lb from this trip and at least another 10lb ready for next one in 9 weeks. 25 days of DDP and cruise food will not be good for me.

Yum! What a great idea! I've always fancied the idea of serving up a 'whippy' ice cream!

That's fantastic! You must be really proud!!

Wayne, I saw in your report that you had cancelled your booking for Spirit of Aloha? I just wondered why, as we have also booked it (after much deliberation ). I'd hate to waste two TS when I still have a couple we fancy that I haven't been able to include:)

Oops! Somehow I'm in my son's account!

Hi Jules, your Son does a lot of posts.:scared1:

Yes, Very proud.

I have heard mostly good reports about Spirit of Aloha but we decided to go look around while we were there. 2 main reasons, although partly covered it is open, DW will not enjoy the evening with August temps if its not fully airconned. 2nd reason, with it open and no windows she would not settle as she has a bird phobia, will never eat ouside or open areas, even when we picnic its in the car.
She was willing to try but I decided we would look at other places instead, Hoop Dee Doo is still possible as thats inside, did it 2 years ago and enjoyed it, we will sit down and look this weekend.

welcome back ! loved reading your posts made me get very excited knowing im going to be there in just over 3 mths
great pics made me very hungry ( im supposed to be on a diet, best get hubby to put a lock on our cupboard doors before i go eat anything ):)

Yes, George can safely be described as a disneyaholic!:rotfl2:

Thanks for that info. I think we will have to sit down and decide if we still fancy it. Are the August evenings really hot then, and are there a lot of insects? (can't stand bugs!!) We've never been in the summer, we usually go in Dec!

Great food reoprts Wayne. I am sitting here starving about to have beans and sausage on toast for tea and my stomach is rumbling wishing that it was being fed the delicious food you had the pleasure of.
