I'm waiting on my ride to the airport right now

I don't know if I've posted it here, but I sprained my ankle pretty badly Wednesday morning and will be using a scooter for half the trip. Hopefully I won't need it by Day 5. In the meantime, everyone watch out--I've never operated one before

The worst of the pain is over I think. I'm on a high dosage of ibuprofen and have to wear a wrap for the entire trip. As long as nobody bumps into me in line or something, it should be fine. I'm going to try to walk as much as I can.

I officially don't like scooters very much. Trying to maneuver through the BC lobby with a gazillion people milling around the carousel was not fun! At least I did make it to the IG to get a new TiW card I found out that rather than trying to get the scooter into the room, I can leave it out front with the valet to re-charge overnight. Fortunately, my ankle is well enough that I can make it on foot from there to the room. Had a great burger & divine onion rings at Beaches & Cream, my first time there. It was pretty quiet when I arrived, but two humongous parties with lots of little kids came in for birthday celebrations--it was not a peaceful experience after that

Time to unwrap my ankle, take some drugs and go to bed I think. A long day after a stressful week. I'll start over tomorrow with a late breakfast at Cape May with redbudlover and her cousin. This is going to be a "take it easy" trip, of necessity. See you all soon!!!!

Sorry about the ankle (don't forget to ice it to take down the swelling).

Scooters take some getting used to (I've used one because last year I ripped my knee to shreds and sometimes the pain is just too much after a few days) but I'm sure you'll do fine.
