The IASW Christmas overlay is at Disneyland not WDW...so you won't have to worry about it being down for your trip!

I'm driving down to Orlando Wednesday after work and I just know that those three work days are going to drag on forever. I couldn't be more excited!

Thanks Batch We probably could have gotten away with not going, but we're going with my sister and her family, and they've never ridden it, so it's definitely on their list.

One week from today we will be heading off to the Magic Kingdom.

We are under that 24hr mark now

rushing around collecting garbages, finishing laundry
...still need to clean the bathroom after everyone is done getting ready for the day. (don't know why but I have a thing about leaving the bathroom freshly cleaned)

DS has hockey this afternoon so that will help to keep him distracted for a couple of hours
Had a close call yesterday. Last night we realized that DD had left her stuffed kitty at the restaurant we were at for breakfast....it was not a pretty site trying to get her to sleep last night...so I was up at the crack of dawn this morning so that I could get to the resaurant and hopefully find it. Thank goodness it was still there....Major Catastrophe Averted....lets hope for smooth sailing from here on out!!

I love posting too just to see my countdown. hehehe guilty!!

This time next week our plane will be touching down at MCO. Weehhee...my favourite part is getting changed into summer clothes at the airport and walking on the red carpet and out those doors...ahhh love the warm breeze that hits my face.

I think we will go to dtd for a few hours, come back to hotel, and swim...sleep and then off to Magic Kingdom for some Extra Magic Hours that night...yay!!!

We arrive the 28th and are staying at AKL! Maybe we will see you all!! It will be me and my 20 month old and two grandparents!


Not going to lie... i would almost be happy to have the ride down.. drives me nuts but everyone else in my group will want to go... But i can survive it once, i think!

hahaha you know what secretly I thought the same thing....in 08, it was closed then last may we did the ride...and really I could live without it this year. My favourite cheesy ride is the carousel of progress...I love it hahahaha (yes I admit it!)

Hey perhaps we will see you....I hope to spend a lot of time poolside this year.

in the middle of my packing frenzy... normally I organize my clothes that I need according to my packing list and create outfits while way. Sometimes I end up with less than stellar choices - so this time am actually planning outfits - So I have been trying on, taking off all morning long.

As well I hate to report, the day I start my 7 day out immune booster, I develop a cold , I think I will be pst it all come WDW time, but some prayers and positive health vibes would be appreciated

by this time tomorrow I will be riding the magical express to the happiest place on earth. i am soo excited i can hardly contain myself . thank god the cold front passed and we will have nice weather yay disney world!!

wow!

i didn't have to buy any clothes luckily, i packed clothes for any type of weather just in case..my suitcase was at 49 lbs lol one of the days when it was in the high 20s, i wore 5 layers; tanktop, long sleeve, short sleeve, sweater and sweatshirt hahah! cant forget -- double socks, scarf and gloves
my bf had to buy a sweatshirt at Epcot on our first day however and borrowed one of my scarves for the rest of the trip hha, he was optimistic that the weather would go up but nope! oh well..

We were there at the same time.. how many long sleeve shirts did you buy?

My final count:

two long sleeve shirts
two pairs of gloves
one scarf
two sweatshirts
one coat
one pair of "Hello Kitty" stretchy pants from Japan.. they were great under my jeans! (that got worn 3 times..... along with my wool socks)

We had a good time anyway...

hehe glad i am not the only one that figures one ride or two of small world is enough for a life time!!
i also think we will be at the pool and grounds a lot, a nice slow trip! Ill be the preggo lady chasing a blond 20 month old boy... hes never still!

Oh my god..tell me about little boys and never staying still!! WOW...I seriously think my son takes steroids or something. I will be the blond mom running after the seriously cute 3 yr old (we are easy to pick out ...he is ethiopian).
I love the splash zone, but wish they would install a gate between it and the pool...last year DS took a beeline for the pool and me in flipflops...not effective. This year he will have a life jacket on before we hit the water area.

Checked in online this afternoon. Printed ADRs and car rental confs.

Typed sub plans (yes, I'm a teacher who leaves her students for two days). Aside from some organizing at work on Wed & Thurs, I'm ready to be gone.

We worked on the toiletry bag today. The DVD player is running to see its battery life. DH has to delete pics on the camera.

DDs Maclaren bag that attaches to her stroller is already packed--sunscreen, wet wipes, water strap, pin lanyard. Outside of a couple snacks for her, it's park ready. And I didn't even do that on purpose! But we get in so late, it will be one less thing to think about the first morning when we're racing out to CRT!

And basically we're all down to clothes. I've started DD and myself here and there. Pretty sure I won't need capris or short sleeves. We'll get there. But today was productive!

Have you checked the weather? It's calling for highs in the low to mid 70's, you may need some short sleeves. Have fun!

We leave next Monday morning-I have shorts, capris, t-shirts, a sweatshirt..I guess I'll wait a few more days...70s in the sun is nice-but in the shade can be cool-doubt they will have any air conditioning on.....

We leave Tuesday. We have mostly short sleeves, couple long sleeves, and a couple hoodies; shorts, capris, and long pants; and swimsuits packed. Thank you, God, for warmer weather. I placed my order and He has answered!
