Hope you feel better after today.

Welcome to the new people on our little cruise meet: looking forward to 'meeting' you on The Boat!

And those puppies are super cute. I want to smell them and kiss them and carry one around with me. I looooooove that puppy smell: like damp newspaper and sweet musk, or something. Our dog previous to our dog now (a white Standard Poodle) was a Dalmatian. There is nothing cuter than a little of Dal puppies. They have the sweetest faces and the softest velvet fur! When we went to pick out our Divah, her litter was about 12 puppies and I sat in the whelping box and they were running all over my lap. It was the strangest and most amazing sensation! Enjoy those babies, even amongst the chaos of moving!

LOL I want to too! I love puppies! After looking after my sisters little angel though I think I've decided no dog for me any time soon - feel I may be allergic to the dog hair as my eyes were mega itchy around her. I want a ferret now I've decided! They are cute too!

Thanks Marilyn - and everyone else! I just need something to knock me out at night and Ill be fine. Dan can sleep through anything luckily!

When I had my bad cough last time I used Covonia Night Time which has a natural something in to aid getting off to sleep. I also have Tylenol PM from the US which has something similar and works. I am sure saw Panadol PM or something similar in Boots though.

Well, they're only 36 hours old at this point and I was able to get them away from mom for a quick photo shoot. Mom said unequivocally and emphatically "NO" to having her picture taken as her hair hadn't been done for days and she did not want to be seen in public looking looking like a dirty mop!

awwwwwwwwww those puppies are so cute :hug:

Have you named them yet?

Hey I think there's a few of us on the 7:30pm flight from Heathrow with BA.

Yes i'm on that flight too!!!

Bummer! Hopefully we'll get a different perk! I suppose the $100 per person onboard credit was a good one! ;)

did everyone get this, or just those of us who paid the fuel surcharge when we booked???

Is anyone planning on going to the :hmghost:MNSSHP:hmghost: at MK after the cruise??

i've never been but i'm considdering the Sunday party night after we dock.

Hi everyone!! Well I am officially "back" on this cruise. :cool1: Thanks to a little nudge by Todd, I have re-booked. We are in a Cat 11 GTY of which I am not thrilled about since I have always been in a Cat 5...but as Laura said, at least I am on the ship! I guess it will just force me to be out and about more instead of sitting on my balcony!

I have not kept up with all your planning and hope that I can catch up. Not sure at this point when we will be arriving, but may need suggestions on where to stay in Barcelona. I have family and friends in England, may go see them before going to Barcelona. Just not real sure yet. I did the WBTA in 2007 and missed my flight from JFK to Barcelona, so I would really like to arrive early and see the sights in Barcelona that I missed last time.

How do I go about getting on the lanyard list? I didnt notice any place to sign up on the website.....did I over look it? :confused3

Any information on what everyone is doing will help so that I dont spend days re-reading the last 1 1/2yrs of posts!! :rotfl:

I am really excited and looking forward to cruising with all my old friends and making new friends!!

It will be myself (Pam) and DH (Mike).....he has never been to Europe so this will be a new experience for him. In 2007 I flew over solo!!

No names yet.....trying to think of something appropriate for the day (Apr 16) or I may use the previous day, Tax Day, and use:
1 - Another Deduction (and call her Penny)
2 - The Bottom Line (and call her Refund)
3 - The Taxman Cometh (and call him Beelzebub)

Whatcha all think?

Thanks Marilyn.....I do remember Eric and Jason being in charge of the lanyards....I will need to look them up!

Sound like fun, My DH and I play scrabble when we're out on our boat for the weekend. But.... a word of warning...he makes up words!!! :rotfl: He even has elaborate meanings for them, It's actually quite funny! :lmao:

Scrabble have just updated the rules. You can now use proper names now. Looks like we will have a problem with your DH:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Jason and I will definitely have bananagrams, buzz word, boggle, taboo, uno and a deck of regular cards with us. If we can fit more we may try to bring cranium, as well.

Not played bananagrams, buzz word, boggle or taboo before. But we're great fans of Uno.

I was going with Chocolate, Caramel and Brownie!!!! Can you tell I'm restricted on certain foodstuffs!!!:rotfl2:

Marilyn,
Very descriptive of them right now, too! However, once I get a pic of mom with them next to her, you'll see why down the road a bit they would be VERY confused kids!!!

You can add Dennis to this list also. Especially line dancing he will NOT! :dance3: I did get him to take a set of ballroom dance lessons just before our daughters' weddings.:dancer:..but that was 20 years ago. Not much dancing for us now. But that's ok with me there are lots and lots of other fun things to do.

Rick won't dance either. :sad1:

LOL I want to too! I love puppies! After looking after my sisters little angel though I think I've decided no dog for me any time soon - feel I may be allergic to the dog hair as my eyes were mega itchy around her. I want a ferret now I've decided! They are cute too!

Speaking from experience, ferrets are super naughty. They get into everything and are somewhat destructive. They are bad little Stitch pets, but so cute. IMHO they are nice to visit.

We have chinchillas, too. They are super cute and easy to care for. A little skittish, but super soft and easy to train. They live a long time. The only drawback for us is their copious poops (herbivores that eat a lot of hay). They are dry little pellets (like rats) but wow they poop a lot. Their cages don't smell and very few people are allergic to them (but their hay can be a problem). I am allergic to dogs and cats, and rats and ferrets, but the chins only give me a mild reaction.

(We have a dog, cat, 2 chinchillas, a ferret and goldfish. DH dislikes pets. :rotfl:)

It's interesting to see the GTY cabins slowly get assigned. We are in a GTY11 but as per their website this morning we are still GTY. We just really want a 7th deck cabin, or a deck 6 near the elevators (are their even cat 11s there?) don't care about much else room-wise.

I'm not so fussed on the variety shows either. I don't mind the ventriloquists so much (especially the adult shows) but I don't like the magicians.

I'm with you there, Not a huge magician fan at all.

You guys are breaking Gus's magician heart! It's such a part of who he is, it's like you are saying you hate him already. Ok, not really...I think he's joking about that part but I guess he's gonna have to come up with some other talent to impress you guys with. ;)

Hey i'm a BIG magic fan...

i did my first magic show at 5 years old and magic was pretty much my whole life till i was 18, i read every book i could find and was doing kids parties most weekends. At 18 i got a job doing magic professionally at a holiday centre. After working there for a whole season doing Magic every waking minute i took a break from magic, and really got into Disney.

I guess i went as far as i ever wanted to with magic and Disney became my new passion. I still dabble in magic and many of my friends now have young children so i'm now doing the odd show again.

Still think one day i may start up doing magic again, but i'm a real ideas guy and at any one time i can have 6 or 7 different projects i'm working on so i never quite know what the future's going to bring. Maybe Gus and I should get together and do an onboard magic class, to help convert some of these non believers
