Deb--I am so impressed with "Weekly Home Blessing" on your list!! I can never get that done!! :thumbsup2

thanks Brooke I'm trying to look at the positive. but I'm already seeing MAJOR holes in L's (7th grade) schedule, Like he has no study halls and no time in school for help with homework. (IEP and all that is supposed to be covered) trying to stay calm and breath. I see many meetings in my future.

E on the other hand has a 1st year teacher and it's a guy which will be great for the 12 boys in the class.

they are watching TV and I'm trying not to cry my boys are growing up much to fast.

AWM my baby is hitting double digits in 3 1/2 months.:scared1: hugs for you:hug::hug:

I'm working. My boss is out having cataract surgery, so I'll probably leave early. Last day of summer vacation for Morgan, but she has this Friday, next Monday and next Thursday off, so it's not really the end. I think I'm way more anxious about middle school than she is.

Had a bit of an issue last night. Our neighbors are a boy and a girl a year older and a year younger than Morgan, respectively. Well, their parents are on the young side, the dad doesn't work at all (I think he's "disabled") and the mom works as a babysitter, I think. Sooo, they don't have as much as we do. The kids are jealous of all Morgan has and does, that's just obvious. They play okay together, but sometimes we hear bad language and not so nice tones from them. Well, last night Morgan told us that the girl said that her mother said "Morgan's got a boy's haircut and is fat, she must go to Dunkin' Donuts every day." Really? Really? The MOTHER said that and the whole family talked about it? I let DH handle it with the girl, because I know I would have said something I shouldn't have. He told her that he knew what she said, that she was not welcome at our house, and that a friend doesn't talk about her friends like that. My poor kid was crying her eyes out :sad1: and I was

I'm still peeved about it.

Dusting BAMB -

How is Baby Blythe!?

Today is our first day of school here - promised DD I would straighten her hair. Little One will not be happy.

No set schedule today - if I get to town - I have some drycleaning to drop off. Maybe make a Target run. Definitely do the dishes. Reboot the laundry. Meeting at 6 pm.

Everyone have a good day!

AWM- Wow, 9 already? Lobster? There's gotta be a good story behind that one!

Christy- Wishing your kiddos a great school year!

Nan- Your list always blows me away

Caroline- Have a great first "kid" day

Mmmmm... MuShu that sounds yummy!!

Wow, kids can be so mean!! Way to go for your DH! What an excellent way to put it! I would have had to send mine in too, I would have been very inappropriate you can be sure!

Poor Morgan, I hope she is better today!

Thanks, Deb. She's fine. I asked her if she liked her haircut and she said yes. I told her that really, that's all that matters. That she shouldn't try to change herself because someone says something about her. Just be herself.

We are nothing but good to those kids. We brought them to a baseball game and bought them dinner and snacks. DH is constantly making things (he's very artsy and made Harry Potter-esque wands for all of them) and giving them to them. I know they don't have the best parental guidance, so I feel bad, but don't be mean to my kid.

Good morning all :)

The girls are back on track (been in school for a week) now it's my turn ;)

Dusting for BAMB and her DD and anyone else who needs it
