Anyone have online booking yet?

Nothing in the standard view but both are available in pool/garden view



Would you be kind enough to check dates of Sept 1-8th at BWV in studio, standard view? I am SSR owner and would really like to transfer to that resort at my 7 month window.

All views are currently available.

I'm surprised it says a studio "sleeps 5". I didn't think 5 were allowed in a studio and unless you have small children there is not bedding to "sleep" 5.

I found another error - I was looking at AKV Jambo club level - it says a 1 bedroom has 2 full bathrooms.
 
Played with the online booking. As others have reported, seems like you can go through the entire process, including borrowing points to book, even though MS has been closed for some time. I did not need to make an actual reservation, so this could be incomplete info, but I did go until I got to the final reservation screen which also provided a warning on how long they would hold the reservation as you completed the process. Overall, seemed pretty user friendly to me!
 
I hope someone posts after hours to see if it is still working tonight after the phones are closed. I can see the point of "keeping it fair", but I can also see it easier for them to keep it on 24/7. What I don't see fair is the day your 11 or 7 month window opens, that online being able to book at 12:01 am, but the phones won't open till 9. I would think IF they keep it online 24/7, they wouldn't let your booking window open until 9am that day. Once the booking window opens, I don't see fairness being an issue.

I won't get to play with it till sometime next month when my contract closes :guilty:

On the day of your 11 month or 7 month it will be available at 9am Eastern time just like Member Services.
 
It's not easy to find, but there is a way to cancel a reservation and you can also add a dining plan using the new on-line system.
I had tried to find this earlier. I just went back to look based on your post (thanks!) and found it!

If anyone else is interested, here are the steps if you want to cancel a "Travel Plan":

On the home page, over on the right under "My Membership", click on "Vacation Center". Then click on "Upcoming Vacations". Then "Travel Plan Details" for the vacation you want to cancel or if you want to add a dining plan or to view/add celebrations to that vacation.

I didn't go beyond that point so I cannot tell you what happens if you click on "Cancel This Travel Plan".

Like everyone else, it looks like it's user-friendly, at least for simple reservations. :goodvibes

For whatever it's worth, last name begins with H, so we may or may not be in the first 1/3 of members, not that it really matters. However, it does say I can book the 20th, and MS is NOT open yet, so maybe reservations open at midnight. Time will tell on that!

I just tried the 7 month window, and can't book for 7 months from today. Just from yesterday. So it appears today doesn't become today until MS opens.
Will try a little after each hour to see.

I went on this morning (6:10 AM) and tried to book for my home resort for December 20th and got the following message:

You've selected a date for your arrival that is currently outside the booking window. If you're booking a Home Resort, please try again anytime after 8:00 a.m. ET on the day that is 11 months from today's date. If booking a non-Home Resort, please try again anytime after 8:00 a.m. ET on the day that is 7 months from today's date. Or you may begin a new search.

So, it seems as though, similar to dining, the online will be 1 hour ahead of the call center. Now, will the information be updated, i.e. did the system refresh at just after 5 pm last night or did it refresh at midnight (if the system was taking reservations from 5 pm to midnight)? I'm guessing it will be updated so that everything is accurate...maybe.
 
I was exploring it last night and it looks great. I'm on vacation at WDW right now, but have to say I'm please with what I see so far. I have to book my next trip next month. I was happy to see my waitlist too and it shows me which of those days are not available. I love being able to search several resorts and getting alternates. I'm happy with it so far, but have not gone all the way through the process yet.

I tried clearing the cookies and cache?

Any ideas?
 
i just tried booking a room for 12/20/21. system told me I could not book it until 8 AM EST. looks like online booking will have a 1 hour advantage over phone reservations.

Did you try turning on private browsing in Safari? Or switching to a different browser on your computer? There is no button to log off from the online booking page and it is easy to forget to do that by going to the home page. If you forget it could cause problems the next time on your iPhone/iPad.
 
I don't know if anyone posted this yet, but one change I'd like to see (demanding, aren't I?) is a "all WDW availability" choice. Wanted to see if SOMETHING was available for President's day weekend out of curiosity, and had to check each resort separately to see. Since the room choice is specific to the resort, they would then need generic studio, 1BR, 2BR, GV choices, so it's not an easy add, but if they look to expand long term...

Overall like what I see!
