Robin & Angel "D". :thumbsup2

We fly in from Virginia on the 11th. We should arrive around 10:20 AM. We are staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt and have requested early check-in. We have dinner reservations at The Fish Market next to the Mighty Mo.

:banana::banana::banana: I love Disneyland....it's the same yet different. I cant' wait to get back to see the changes in California Adventures!!!
my first EVER visit to any Disney park was there - 30 years ago this year in fact but have to wait until next year to visit again although I have been twice since 1984 thankfully.

You know I have never cared for Disneyland California. Had a great time in Disneyland Tokyo. Always enjoy Disney World and love Disney Cruise lines. I guess 4 out of 4 isn't bad
you should also try Hong Kong - it's soooo tiny but a couple of things different to all other parks. Fancy Paris? yet again a few different things.
Just need to try Shanghai when it opens!!!

This board has been so active for so long and Now Facebook has taken over it's sad to see it so quiet here.

:worried::worried:

:banana::banana: 14 days til we cruise :banana::banana:

I agree, it is sad. I always enjoy the bantering back and forth here on the DIS Board.

:sad::sad::sad: I agree with you both.

In just a little over a week, we fly out to California on Sunday Sept the 7th, our first visit to Disneyland!!! :cool1::banana::yay::yay::yay:

My first one was also there…I was 9 months old and it was 4 years old. I always tell people who say why take a baby, they don't remember it. No, I don't but I've seen the pictures, watched the home movies, loads of memories there. Sadly, my parents lost everything in a flood of our hometown in 1994 so they are now truly only in my memory.

My next park was MK in 1977, it was the only one in Florida. I finally made it back to WDW in 2001 and never looked back. We made it to Disneyland for the 50th. We've been back twice since.

I haven't had the chance to experience any of the other parks. Maybe some day. I have to quit cruising to save up the buck though and that I have not been able to do! :lmao:

I saw an article on Tokyo DisneySea is suppose to be amazing. I think I read that they don't have characters there.

wow Stephanie that's impressive but so sorry about your parent's losing their photo's - I'd be inconsolable if I lost ours (70+ scrapbooks worth).

DisneySea was very different, almost 'non-Disney' really and come to think of it, I can't remember any characters but didn't notice at the time. I'll have to go through my photo's now and check!

Hey there! Thanks for adding me to the FE list, how do I access it?I would like to join the Facebook page, how do I do that?

This board has gone quiet. As I pack this weekend I may have lots of questions. Hopefully there are some seasoned cruisers around to answer me if I need it.

I think I read this before but can't find where: can we use disney gift cards on board toward our accounts?

Not sure if this is the same but last year we bought gift cards on board and then spent them a few days later in the gift shop ( just wanted the cards for my scrapbook!!! )

Just thought I'd pop over here and let you know I am only waiting for one single GTY cabin number. Other than that, the list is totally and completely updated with everyone else's cabin number. I have sent this person an email and also a PM here on the DIS as I don't think they are on our FB page.

Hopefully they will answer today, and then I can sort the list by cabin number and re-post it! :)

You have to put the gift cards in your onboard account. I only use enough to pay off the balance and keep any left over for my next cruise.
