I will be happy when we're all able to book. Now I'm starting to lose it. I had a dream last night that FD became available for everyone but it was only available for a limited time-like only until 8am!

We are staying at POR sept 26-October 2. We currently have the DDP. And we have made all of our ADRs. So, if we call and get the FDP do we
A.) loose our ADRs?
B.) pay the upgraded difference so we can keep the DDP?
C.) would we save even more $ if we wait for any 30% Room discount instead?
There are 2 adults and 1 child

A) no
B) the DDP is free with mods. The DXDP would be extra.
C) you'd need to do the math, but 30% is not typically for mods.

I can't be the only one with a notebook next to me with the order of our choices 1-6. Hoping I don't have to go all the way to number 6 (which is moving up to a deluxe). We're going no matter what, but FD is the best deal for our family and the way we like to do Disney (and we already were staying 7 nights and getting Park Hoppers). But, there are 5 of us, so our choices are pretty limited. I too feel like I'm 7 and it's Christmas Eve!

Not much I can do at this point since my friend is a TA and she will have to do it all. I think she is calling at 7am. Blah. I mentioned the whole modify button if she could see it and she just said "I bet the site will crash"

The water parks close early, and I believe Typhoon Lagoon will be closed for refurb at that time. We were there last year at that time, and it was too chilly for waterparks. We were wearing light jackets most of the time.

We've done it. We've also been in jeans and jackets most of that week. So, it kind of depends on Mother Nature's feelings that week. The waterparks are great that time of year because they're not very crowded!

That's not sad, that just means my husband and I will have to take a special trip with our youngest child, I can't see how that would be a bad thing. Especially since it would only make sense that I need to go to Disney again and I am the best at organizing us, plus my husband hates long drive sad I don't mind. See it will be awesome

Your child needs to be 18 years of age to have a reservation listed in their name.

A. No
B. DDP is included with moderate resorts, only need to upgrade at value
C. You will have to price it out. I find FD the better deal at moderates.

My offer NOT BOOKED with Disney VISA. I'm hoping I got some pixie dust tonight -- will gladly spread some around if I can. We always do park hoppers because we are commando touring types, but I understand a lot of folks do not like or are able to do more than a park a day.

But, the cost of a PH over a longer stay is really worth it in our opinion...so much flexibility. Now for a shorter stay -- not so much.

A) You wont lose your ADRs. Those are not linked to your room.
B) If you are able to keep POR under free dining (IE, if it is included and has availability for your dates), it will onclude DDP, so no upgrade fee unless you go deluxe DDP.
C) mods wont typically be a 30% discount for room only, but i would suggest running the numbers once the RO discounts come out to compare which way is the better deal for your family.

Just wanted it check in! I just called to see if I had any pins. She asked if I wanted anything in particular and I said FD. She told me I didn.t have any pins. I asked if she knew about any fall discounts. She said that Mickey hadn't told them anything yet but to keep checking back and that they find out on the same day we do.

We went in December over Christmas in 2006 and it was warm enough to swim in our condo pool. I don't know anything about the water parks though.

Question...I need to book 3 rooms for our extended family trip. I want each to be under a separate name but don't mind putting all 3 deposits on my card. Can I do that even though the name on the ressie is different? I want to do this online. Thanks!

MY notebook is right here next to me. I know a lot of people use spreadsheets but I like plain old paper and pen. I've never done anything like this though because there are usually 7 of us going and we don't usually get deals. But I am so thrilled that I can do this since it's only two of us, this is more exciting than Christmas.

A) No, you will not lose your ADRs. They will stay just as they are.
B) Yes, you will be required to pay an upgrade to the dining plan you desire
C) Sorry, don't have an answer for this one. If you run the numbers using a variety of scenarios, you'll find what one works best for your family.
