'Ohana Bread Pudding Twice In One Trip?! How can Life Possibly Get Better Than That *Complete*

i love your mouse ears, so cute. i, as well, work a 4pm to 12 am shift. love this shift, as i don't have to get up too early, but at Disney, i know i will get up early (earlier).

ESPN actually looks pretty good. We might have to try it. I know my sports loving boys would like it! Beaches and Cream looks so good too. That is another one that I have yet to try! Trails End is so good...love it!

I have still not been to B&C! Every trip I say we are going to go and then I end up changing things and not getting there. Love Rob's patty melt on a hamburger bun! Wouldn't have thought of asking for that!

And I will get the TE for breakfast! OMG ... that looks delicious! Now how to tell DS that he has to get up early one of the mornings Spring break ....:scared:

You definitely need to get to B&C! We kept pushing it aside for many trips, but once we finally got there it became a must-do on every trip. We love it!

 You may need to drag him out of bed for that one. He will thank you in the end. :thumbsup2

We enjoy ESPN club as well. In January we spent a Sunday watching our Packers beat the Cowboys in the playoffs.

I have only been to beaches and cream once and that was for one sole purpose to have a kitchen sink and it was fantastic. I've heard many other good things about the place and we are staying at the beach club in January so I'll probably be back there for something else.

Never been to trails end but heard good things about it. I do want to try it some day.

ESPN is great, especially during football season. It's such a fun atmosphere to enjoy the game.

I would love to try the Kitchen Sink sometime! I feel like I need more people than just Rob and I. One day!

I hope you get a chance to try TE one day. It is absolutely amazing for breakfast and dinner!

Pulled pork grilled cheese :love: also that breakfast burrito looks delicious!

I agree! How have I never seen that combination of pulled pork and grilled cheese before now? It's too perfect.

Looks like a great couple of food days. So gotta try that grilled cheese at ESPN one of these days, as it looks amazing. And speaking of pork, those eggs bennies are seriously making my stomach growl. Hoping next time we stay at WL we can finally make it over there as you've been tempting me for a while now. And speaking of tempting we got to try beaches for the first time and agree it is definitely a gem!

We did it up this trip, that's for sure. We had no missteps other than our first lunch. The pulled pork eggs benedict ties with Kona's Samoan as my favorite breakfast food ever. Soooooo good. Glad you got to try B&C! I can't wait to go back for onion rings!

Thanks! I love all the cool stuff you can find on Etsy. I can't wait to wear them again. I love my shift too. Mostly because of the extra money . I struggle to wake up before 11am every dya at home, but some how when we get to Disney I have very little problem getting up at 7am. It's like a switch flips in my brain. Glad it happens, but it's odd.

ESPN is a lot of fun, especially when there is a game on that you can enjoy. B&C and TE are both a must! I love food that is simple, yet delicious and they both fit the bill.

I know when I worked day shift and had to get up at 5 am, so hard in the winter when it's so cold and so dark, it feels like it's the middle of the night. I much prefer this shift

Great news folks! Looks like me and the big guy are headed back to WDW March 12-26!!!

4 nights at POR in the Royal Suites and 10 nights at SSR.

Better yet, I bought my annual passes a couple of weeks ago. So not only did I beat the price increase, but I also bought the vouchers at the Disney Store so I could use my Apple Pay for Discover Card's current 10% cash back promo when you use Apple Pay in stores. I am also signed up for their current double cash back promotion, so I get 1% on everything, an extra 10% using Apple Pay and next June it all gets doubled for a total of 22% back. So I saved $190 buying my passes before the price increase and I will get $306 in cash back on this one purchase. I am on cloud nine over my savings right now, I must say. Makes up for the fact that TiW just went up $50.

Anyway, back to the food!

After the movies we decided to head into Epcot for the evening to partake in F&G booths.

My first stop was not a booth, but Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe for something I have never tried. Their famous School Bread. Sweet cardamom bun filled with vanilla creme custard and topped with glazed and toasted coconut.

OMG this totally lives up to the hype! I was always kinda scared off by the fact that the bread is not sweet, but it doesn't matter at all. That fact makes it even better. I loved the coconut glaze on the top and the bread was so tasty. I will be having one of these every trip from here on out.

Next we stopped at the Florida Fresh booth so Rob could try the Feast of Flowers Farmhouse Ale.

Then I stopped at Primavera Kitchen for the Fior di Latte, Prosciutto e Pane di Casa — Pinwheel of Mozzarella, Prosciutto, Ciabatta Bread.

This was excellent! I could have had a few of these.

While we were hanging around Italy we could see the line was INSANE for Herman's Hermits. Didn't realize they were still that big of a deal. In fact, on another day we saw 3 women camped out at the front of the line right after the park opened. That is a looooooong wait in the heat. God belss 'em.

Next we went to The Smokehouse where we both tried Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash with White Cheddar Fondue and Pickled Jalapeños.

And I was seriously melting in the heat so I had R.C. Sweet Tea made with Twinings Cold-Brewed English Classic Tea.

The brisket was amazing! We both loved it. I could have done without the jalapenos, but they were easy enough to pick out. The tea was tasty. I was basically just glad it was cold because I was sweating to death at this point.

Then we went over to Botanas Botanico.

I tried La Tizana a Classic Venezuelan Fruit Drink.

I opted for the one sans booze, which was a mistake. It would have been better as an alcoholic drink than a regular drink.

I also tried the Seafood Ceviche — Shrimp, Scallops, and Grouper with mango and avocado.

This was a perfect fresh, cool dish in the heat with lots of flavor and lots of seafood.

Rob tried White Corn Arepa with Braised Beef and Chayote Slaw.

This looked amazing and I was sad I didn't try it. Rob definitely enjoyed it.

I also ordered the Coconut Tres Leches, which I somehow managed to carry over to a table along with all my other food. I almost didn't make it!

This was okay. The bottom was too saturated, which I didn't care for.

This area is so pretty. It was a great place to sit and enjoy our food.

We then went back to check out the Herman's Hermits show. We had to stand all the way in the back, but that was fine with us. It was still enjoyable.

After the show Rob stopped at Hanami for Teriyaki Curry Bun — Steamed bun filled with chicken, vegetables, curry and sweet sauce. And a Kirin beer.

Next we stopped at L'Artisan des Glaces.

Rob wanted to try a cone, so he got Profiterole ice cream in a waffle cone.

He liked it, but it was no apple crumble!

Then we went next door to Les Halles to grab treats for later.

We both ended up getting the bacon and cheese roll.

These were super yummy in the room later. Sadly this batch was a little overdone, but they were still good.

Even with the heat it was still a great evening at Epcot!

Congrats on getting the annual passes and having your next trip in the works!!!!! Sounds like you got a great deal. Think we may just go once next year so I have a bit more time before I gotta swallow the AP price pill.

What a great night snacking around Epcot. Glad you loved the school bread, it's my perennial Disney favorite. And that arepia and brisket look especially good. Think we may actually be there for our first flower and garden next year, so now I really can't wait

I like to think I'm savvy with my Discover and Southwest Rewards, but you win. You totally win. Holy cow - I would brag about this for the rest of my life LOL!

I had one of these - yum! If you have an Aldi (grocery store) nearby, they sell something just like this. Like a prosciutto provelone log (I think they call it prosciutto panino). Dangerously delicious.

The brisket was amazing! We both loved it. I could have done without the jalapenos, but they were easy enough to pick out. The tea was tasty. I was basically just glad it was cold because I was sweating to death at this point.

I loved that brisket dish, too! Yum! I'm not a huge jalapeno fan but this dish was so good.

After watching endless episodes of Barbueque Pitmasters I can say I know what burnt ends are! Glad you enjoyed them. Our next trip I am trying to steer the family to Flower and Garden time...love the booths!
Beaches and Cream looked amazing! ::yes::

You made my night with that gorgeous picture of my beloved school bread  I'm so happy you liked it!!! To say I love it is an understatement lol. Forget planning ADR's and FP's , I figure out how many school breads I can fit into my trips ::yes::
And so awesome on having your next trip all set!! That was great planning (luck??) getting your AP before the price increase. Not sure what we're doing when ours expire in March. The price hasn't totally scared me off yet, although don't think we'll get TIW again which stinks b/c we're loving it now.

Just popping in to say how much I've enjoyed this review. So much of the food looks like stuff I would order, and now there are several new things I want to try. There's no way I'm missing Tambu Lounge next time after seeing that pic of your nachos and knowing I can order bread pudding there!

I also think it's so interesting that you guys saw so many movies while on vacation! It's never really occurred to me to go to the movies while at Disney. I guess I feel I need to always be in a park, even though we're also a couple with no kids in tow. Do you go to the movies often on all of your trips, or just this one?

Awesome job on the savings! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

DS and I will miss you by a couple of days. We will be there March 5th - 10th. :( Very glad I have the trip to plan but it seems sooo far away at this point!

Woohoo another trip in the works!

So many food pictures. It all looks great. I've never had that bacon and cheese roll it looks very good.

What a great review...a few of the places we are also visiting in Dec...love seeing pictures of the actual food...thanks for sharing your holiday adventure with us

That price increase is outrageous. If I hadn't purchased mine when I did I would be rethinking some things for WDW next year. If only I could have bought my TiW card before the price increase. Oh well. Can't have it all I guess.

I can't believe it took me so long to try School Bread! It's definitely a new favorite.

I like to think I'm savvy with my Discover and Southwest Rewards, but you win. You totally win. Holy cow - I would brag about this for the rest of my life LOL!

 There is truly nothing I love more than a good deal. I am a serious bargain hunter. I am buying everything I can with Apple Pay to get this deal.

It IS dangerously delicious! I am going to check my grocery store too and see if I can find something comparable.

I'm not a big jalapeno fan either. I was glad they were whole so that I could easily pick them off.

After watching endless episodes of Barbueque Pitmasters I can say I know what burnt ends are! Glad you enjoyed them. Our next trip I am trying to steer the family to Flower and Garden time...love the booths!
Beaches and Cream looked amazing! ::yes::

I am so excited to go back for the booths next year. Anxiously looking forward to them announcing what will be at the booths for 2016.

Beaches & Cream is awesome. I could seriously eat there every day.

You made my night with that gorgeous picture of my beloved school bread  I'm so happy you liked it!!! To say I love it is an understatement lol. Forget planning ADR's and FP's , I figure out how many school breads I can fit into my trips ::yes::

I can't wait to get my hands on School Bread again. I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. I like your logic of fitting the trip around School Bread. :thumbsup2

It was definitely dumb luck that I got the AP before the price increase. I was so happy when I saw I managed to skirt the price increase. Bummed I have to pay $150 for TiW, but it will still be worth it. We can easily drop $2000 on food in two weeks, so even though the price increase stinks, we still have to do it.

Just popping in to say how much I've enjoyed this review. So much of the food looks like stuff I would order, and now there are several new things I want to try. There's no way I'm missing Tambu Lounge next time after seeing that pic of your nachos and knowing I can order bread pudding there!

Thanks so much!!!! Tambu Lounge is awesome! Already making plans to fit it in on our next trip. The nachos were way better than expected. And of course you can't beat the bread pudding!

We LOVE going to the movies there! We go to the movies a lot at home too. We have always done a lot of movies while we are there. The first couple of trips we just saw one or two each time and then on our Disneymoon 6 years ago we saw 7 and that's when we started doing that almost every time. A couple of trips around September we have had limited/terrible selection and didn't go much, but we have had probably 5 or 6 trips where we see 6+ movies. I am definitely getting a Stubs card next time to get some discounts at AMC too.

Awesome job on the savings! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Woo hoo! It feels good to save so much money.

Awww darn! Too bad we will just be missing you. 5 months feels forever away. I am obsessing over planning our food right now. So excited to try a few new places and experiences. I am hoping they are still offering the Wishes dessert cruise into next year. Your Illuminations cruise looked incredible. I would love to do that, but for just the two of us it is a little pricey, so I think this would work out a little better.

Woohoo another trip in the works!

So many food pictures. It all looks great. I've never had that bacon and cheese roll it looks very good.

I am so excited to plan our next trip! It feels so far away, but I know it will be here before I know it.

The bacon and cheese roll is delicious! It's a good snack to take for later too.

What a great review...a few of the places we are also visiting in Dec...love seeing pictures of the actual food...thanks for sharing your holiday adventure with us

Thanks so much! Hope you have an awesome time in December! It's so great being there around the holidays.

The day day we were at Epcot bright and early.

We had the worst luck with rides here this trip. I refuse to wait in super long lines for Soarin' and Test Track and with FP+ only allowing one choice per day I always chose Soarin'. This time I decided to throw Test Track in the rotation on a few days and every time our FP time rolled around the ride was down and we could only use our FP at something lame like Figment. We also encountered the longest lines we have ever seen for Living with the Land. It was insane! So at this point in the trip we had not been on Soarin', Test Track or Living with the Land. I was determined to get on something today!

We got right in line for Soarin' when the park opened and we were on with 20 minutes. Not too shabby.

It was the bottom row, but beggars can't be choosers at this point, right?

After Soarin' we stopped at Sunshine Seasons for breakfast.

I decided to try something I have read about on here before, the Blueberry Croissant Bread Pudding.

This was awesome! It was sweet, but not overwhelmingly so and the croissants were flaky and delicious. Slightly heavy and very filling, but that's okay with me.

And because I am a piggy I also got a cheese danish.

In my defense, Rob peer pressured me into getting it, I didn't know the blueberry bread pudding would be so filling in it's tiny cup and... it looked extra yummy!

OMG this danish was good. Bless you Disney cheese danish!

Ron got one of our favorite breakfast items here, the breakfast panini.

He always gives me a bite or two of this and it's so good. I always want my own, but the pastries here are so good that it's hard to resist.

Rob always gets a weird second item here. Usually it's cheesecake, which baffles me, but this time it was some type of apple crunch pastry.

He is so silly. He enjoyed it though.

Living with the Land was sadly closed at that moment, so after that we made our way over to Test Track where we FINALLY got to use our FP.

And I got to make a goofy looking car. Great start to the day!

Holy treats woman!! All those look amazing. Congrats on another trip and all those savings!! We bought our AP for a bargain this year and I am all about deal and savings for sure.

Things on my list for April are the blueberry bread pudding and the bacon cheese croissant at Epcot, both look so good and get great reviews! Nice pictures, I also pick soarin for the FP+ so we usually do TT single rider!

I would definitely still do TIW if we were going for 2 weeks! Actually I'm not convinced it's a bad deal for one week even at $150 if you eat the way we do lol.
That apple crunch pastry is right up my alley! I've never noticed it but will be on the lookout next month. And BTW, you can never go wrong with Disney cheese Danish :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Loving the food reviews. Trying to plan our ADR's and you are giving me so many good ideas. Raglan Road looks like fun...and yummy! Ohana, while we did the breakfast last time (and loved it, even my very picky dd), we've not done dinner and to be able to watch wishes from your table. Awesome!

Can't wait to hear more!
