Yup. Make sure you check out page #1 of this thread, it is chock full of very useful information like this. :thumbsup2
Thank-you so much! I have been to the Caribbean twice before but I couldn't remember LOL! I am so sorry, I've read through most of this thread before but I didn't have time to search through to find out about the blow dryer. We are driving to Disney so we are leaving tomorrow and I still have so much to do!:)

I hope you have a magical stay!!

Just booked for 12/31-1/7! So excited. Have never stayed here before! Any suggestions for room requests? We only paid for a standard room. Traveling with 3 boys. 16,14 and 11. Any tips????

Make sure you check out pages 1 and 2 for tons of useful information and tips. Jamaica 45 is our favorite with Aruba 51 right behind it. They both are a very quick 3-4 minute stroll across the bridge to OPR and the Main Feature pool. We give Jamaica 45 the edge because the bright yellow exteriors of the Jamaica buildings just scream Caribbean to us.

I did online checkin and made some requests (which I don't care about really) but did chose that having the room ready early was most important. We will be leaving Legoland around 10ish to head to CBR 2 weeks from tomorrow).

So, my question is, I know check in technically isn't until later in the afternoon, but what are the chances of having a room ready closer to noonish? 50/50? Less?

We will want to relax most of the day since we're doing the Xmas party that night. Where would be the best place to do so if we can't get into our room? We may hit up Earl of Sandwich at DTD for lunch.

We are currently 3 weeks out, and I can not say how much I appreciate all of the great info in this thread! We have been to Disney several times, but this will be our first time at CBR, and we are SUPER excited! I know that I read in an earlier post that people have used Amazon Prime Pantry to ship ahead… How far out should we place our order to coincide with our arrival? We will be arriving on the 19th. Thank you!

Thanks for your info in the past dans dad. We were just there for a couple nights in aruba section bldg. 52. We saw Bob as well, nice guy. The bridge dansdad is talking about is under construction, so you had to walk around, or use their shuttle vehicles, or use the ferryboat to get across. We walked around most of the time. Beautiful resort and everyone (cast members, guests) were so friendly. We cannot wait to go back.

We just checked out today. I enjoyed the resort. We were in Aruba and used both the shuttle and the boat to get to OPR. I was pleased with my stay but I don't know if I will do CBR again. The shuttle vehicles were prompt and we never really had to wait on them. The boat was very handy too. If the bridge hadn't of been out it would have been better but I can't say my issues with my trip had anything to do with the room or resort.

Depending on the crowd and room turnover/availability, I'd say 70/30 that your room is ready. We've landed at 10:00AM before and been in our room by the time we got to CBR, at around 11:15AM. You have a good chance to get to your room. Luggage is another story if you are taking DME. Enjoy your trip.

Sorry that I went MIA for a while there. My daughter and her husband have finally moved all of their things from Tennesse to Louisiana but are staying with us until their rental comes open. Then, my son-in-law was involved in an accident with an 18 wheeler (who left the scene). Insurance is being a booty so they are down a vehicle. And, my dang Dis email notifications stopped coming to me again. Thanks so much for all of you who have answered questions, left reviews, etc. I'm going to try to get caught up with all of my subscriptions and update the first couple of pages.
