This sounds maybe okay in the winter months but in late spring, summer, early fall it would seem like being wrapped in plastic wrap and placed in a greenhouse. No?I have heard no AC no fans.

I have traveled extensively in Europe including England, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, & in Hong Kong in China. I have never seen a pay toilet.
Harrod's has pay toilets. I ran into them in several other places in London, as well as in Ireland. Never saw any in Italy.Have you traveled in Europe? Pay-restrooms abound.

Hey, if WDW can get some people to waste their $$ on a tent, then more power to them. Sorry but MK has a lot of places to rest and relax. When our DDs were younger and napped in their stroller, we had no issues finding a nice spot and have a snack while resting. I think the most we spent was $20, and it was a snack of our choice.
Now, see, a share during a solo trip, I can see. Let me know if you'll book one over Princess and want people for a share.

After Hours was awesome and well worth the price of admission, especially considering the price for a one-day ticket. When else can you walk onto the rides or just stay on.Most won't but all they need is a few groups each day who do to be successful. We are a tiny fraction of guests on DIS and folks here are already booking.
The After Hours took a lot more guests and I honestly think it would have been a hit if they marketed it and got the price point right to begin with. They didn't do either. After Hours can be a huge hit at DHS and AK once new Lands open.
We did the After Hours and was completely worth it to us.
We need to start a "Share a cabana" thread, so that 4 couples or 2 Dis families could book it (like IllumiNations cruises) and enjoy the amenities for a day.
I think for all the aforementioned reasons, especially the reserved FW and parade viewing with a group it would be worth it.
IMHO of course...
At Magic kingdom right now
- the tents are camouflaged and concealed by shrubs, if you're looking for them you will only see the top of them
- I decided to walk into the area since there was no sign of no entry, all 4 tents were occupied by guests, I could see a guy taking a nap with the "door" closed, so assuming it does have a/c since it's 83 right now
- another tents door was open, got a couple of pics, they don't look horrible inside, the fridge was full of sodas and water, the snacks were small bags of chips, goldfish, doritos, fritos. The fruit basket was placed on the table , medium size.
Long, L shaped couch, rug and I could see the locker
-Plaids were all around but didn't tell me smudging when I was taking pictures
Will post the pics when I get home tonight

Plus one. You are not forced to get one. People will pay for them. Just not us.I also do not get all the anger. I have no interest, but if I was traveling with a large group, had folks who needed or wanted a dedicated spot to rest, and planned on being in the MK on a busy day, this would be something to consider. Once you deduct the cost of beverages and snacks for the day, divide between the adults in the group, and factor the value of reserved viewing for entertainment, the value may be realized.
We loved it. Went towards the end and was planning to ask for AP discount. They told us price had been dropped for everyone. I think at that point they had found a good price. Probably too late. All that stopped us from riding everything was the walking time and the rides we repeated over and over.
Here are the pics I took today, like I said in my previous post all the tents were reserved (there are 4 in total)
From the outside you want really see them other than the top, this is an area on the side of Space Mountain that was rarely used

You go into the area through a break in the hedge by the wall

saw people being escorted by a plaid to the vip viewing for FoF wearing a lanyard with the same name "kingdom cabana" Porter family
I can tell you that you cannot see them unless you know what you are looking for. I told my DD16 about these tents, told her where they were located and when we were walking toward them I asked her if she could see them, she said no. I had to point out the hedge and the "roof" of the tents.I'm still voting "eyesore".
I think Disney found a price point where it would sell. But if it was a profitable enough price point to make Disney happy, I think it would have had more dates added. And it didn't.
