Fun celeb siting the other day! Who have you seen lately?

I stood a few feet from Louis CK in line for Peter Pan a while back. He was not with a plaid and it seemed nobody recognized him except me. We stood in line for about 30 minutes and I didn't see a single person speak to him. Of course, I didn't speak to him, either, so there may have been other people who recognized him but just decided to leave him alone. No gawking crowds for him!

I LOVE him, it would have been hard for me to not say hi or something!

Alfonso Ribiero was there today. We looked for him but didn't see him. Darn it!

A couple of years ago my husband and I were walking up from Splash Mountain and DH saw Ron Jeremy  and went and took a photo with him while he was getting in line for the Winnie the Pooh ride. I was so embarrassed(!) but he was very nice. DH actually saw him again later while we were shopping on Main Street and kind of apologized for bugging him, but Ron was really nice and they ended up chatting for about 10 minutes. DH was so starstruck  that he lost one of our souvenirs! I will never let him live that one down. He still thinks it's the funniest thing ever... :rotfl:

Then it probably wasn't him

Then it probably wasn't him

Yes it was. It was definitely him, which you would know if you were there, which you weren't. You probably just think I'm stupid, which is a reasonable guess to make in light of the fact that you don't know me at all. But thank you for that interesting contribution to the conversation. Welcome to the DIS, you are going to make a lot of friends here!

Last November, I got to see David Lee Roth! I heard him talking to some folks and it was just funny hearing that voice right next to me. The November before that, my wife ran into Mariah Carey while she was holding a spot for PtN.

And for baseball fans, I was at WDW during the MLB Winter Meetings that they were having there at the resort and I got to say hello with Theo Epstein, who was the GM for the RedSox at the times. And for a RedSox fan like myself, that was a pretty big deal. He broke the curse! And now he's broken the curse for two teams.

OK, don't laugh, but I love trash TV, one of my faves being Vanderpump Rules. During my last visit, I saw Stassi, her mom, and little brother at the Little Mermaid. While dramatic, and sometimes nasty, onscreen, she was very sweet w/ me. She took a selfie, with me (and I am really not photogenic). That's why she's my BFF :rotfl:

Omg I love that show!! It's sooo terrible but I can't help myself haha!

My dd loves looking for celebs when we go, lol. She's seen a ton of you tubers (celebs to her) along with a lot of the Disney channel stars. By far the nicest one was the mom from Good Luck Charlie. She was so concerned that my dd had gotten out of line to meet her that she asked her CM if they could put dd back in line. Totally not necessary as we are APs and go all the time but she as super sweet.

The rudest person we have encountered as Adam Sandler who we saw on the path between Mattherhorn and Pixie hollow area. It was completely deserted and he was such an *** to my dd. He was wearing the exact same outfit he had on the kids choice awards a few weeks earlier and was very easily recognizable.

Spring break 2016 I saw Travis Barker(Blink 182 drummer) and his Kids in DTD and got a Picture and said hi, super nice guy.

Once when we were in line for Peter Pan I was chatting with this guy in front of me. We were talking about the park and what our kids liked and so on. Totally normal conversation. It wasn't until they family got on that the teens behind me went crazy asking me did I know who I was talking to. I had to admit that I did not, lol. It was Travis Barker. We we got off the ride he had a crowd around him but gave us a wave when we passed by. I didn't stop for a photo or anything because of the crowd but do remember our conversation and he was so nice.

I've seen a few over the years...John Stamos, Kylie Jenner and Tyga, the oldest son from 7th Heaven (can't remember his name), Peter Facenelli (sp?) from Twilight, Kevin Smith, Nicole Ritchie, and probably more I can't think of right now.

We are so out of touch with current stars. Every time we see a celebrity we only know because we hear other people saying "oh looks it's "so-&so"" and we say "who?" lol.
Case in point, back in 2015 we were at the Minnie & Friends breakfast at the Plaza Inn. Heard a lady fawning over some people who we were sitting next to. I had to send a picture to my teenage nieces to figure out it was Ryker Lynch (still have no clue who he is, or even which one he is in this picture, lol).

Oh my gosh- that is the whole Lynch family! I'm almost the positive the one with his back to you is Ross-- aka Austin of Austin and Ally on the Disney Channel. They have a sibling band called R5 that is actually pretty good and Ryker was on Dancing with the Stars. DD would have flipped out! We saw R5 last year and DD (then 10) got a VIP pass and got to have her picture with the band. DD is a talker, and I think it is the only time in her life I have ever seen her speechless.

I think you're right - there are more R5 members in that photo! My girls would have freaked as well, but I doubt they would have been bold enough to approach them.

The only celeb I've ever recognized at DLR is Matt Damon (and I didn't approach him).

Thats awesome!

Scott Disick in December & David Arquette in June were the most recent. Korie & Willie Jr Robertson from Duck Dynasty a couple of years ago & my kids got a pic with them. Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart, & Nicole Richie many years ago. And many, many years ago, Michael Jackson took over the thunder mountain train we were supposed to get on, so we had to wait, but took pictures of him & his entourage.
