We have 6 adults and 2 kids so we have two rooms at CBR. With tickets, our package is 5300. We can get a 3br villa right outside of the park for 750. Of course we have to add tickets but 40 a day to park isn't going to put us anywhere near the on-site prices. Waiting to see what FD and RO discounts are before making a final decision though.

I think because we are going Christmas week rates off site are higher. Or I'm not looking in the right places. And being on Disney property gives us the EMH which is pretty helpful during this busy week.

Yeah, she says that she can't start to put in deals until 6am. I never know what they say is true or not due to being so new to this.

I would book another but its more expensive, and we have the CBR GC offer with our stay as well so even if I made a new one it would not be of this caliber.

I am in the same boat with the CBR GC, TA doesn't start until 6am. I am going to try to book at POP on my own and upgrade to DDP because it will be a better deal if it turns out all my TA can get me is a Pirate room (which I have no interest in). If my TA can get me a standard or water/pool view at CBR I will keep my booking with her.

I saw that but the page we looked at yesterday that said from August 21... was a different web page. They aren't the same URL. The one we talked about yesterday isn't showing up in the search engine results now. It is bizarre...

However it is still there. But they have changed the metadata to just read "FPO" instead of the summary of the offer.

Hi, this is what I do; if you can't seem to add one more night, try two or three. Book it, then call and cancel the days you don't need. This is what I have to do almost every year to get what I actually need. Good Luck!

I'm going to do the same, I'll book POP Preferred, FD + Upgrade to DDP if no CBR/Preferred. I have a CBR Standard/Preferred right now, I don't remember which, but no Pirate. That will add almost $400 extra to my bill and with the plans my boyfriend has; we won't be able to afford that.

Only time will tell!

I have an MDE account and my sister doesn't not so her reservation I've linked to mine so when FD drops can I modify both of the reservations if the button is there?

If the reservation is under her name, I don't think you will be able to modify it. I know it works that way with dining reservations, even if we link them. The person who made the reservation has to cancel or modify it. Do you have a "change reservation" button on her reservation?

I wonder if I should bug my TA again and see if she has additional information re FD? Shes at Dreams. ..Ive akready given her my back up resorts but worried she didn't write them down or her dog ate the notes or the wind blew it off her desk.....somebody stop me!

Once we were walking through Tomorrowland at DL in the evening. We saw 2 kids sized shoes a couple steps apart (looked like the kid had just stepped out of them). We were near an info booth so handed them over. Then walked a bit further and noticed a family with three kids, including a little boy crying hysterically and the parents looking around. We realized it was that family and were able to direct them back to the CM for their shoes!

Another time we went to sit at Tomorrowland Terrace for a snack and found a souvenir bag with bubble gun. We turned it over to a CM. As we were finishing, a dad came frantically over asking if anyone had seen his son's bag. Luckily the CM hadn't walked it all the way up to Lost and Found so they were able to get it back!

My friend lost her phone at Universal. When she got back to our room she called her husband at home using my phone. Her husband asked where her phone was. She knew he would be unhappy with her for losing it, so she told him she must have left it in the car. He said "No its not. Dr. Seuss just called and said you left it in his shop." Busted!

Careful if you bug them to much they may get angry.

Yes both reservations under my name have the change reservation button . Hopefully that's a good sign

Just on orbitz and last minute travel but I'm only looking for something super close like the Disney Springs area. We have only stayed on property except for 1 night before/after our Disney package so I don't really have experience with anything off site.What I'm finding is between $160-220/night and then add on top of that all the other fees, it comes out the same as a Disney resort.

Have you tried the button to see what happens? If it takes you to the page where you can change resort/dates/etc., I think you may be good to go.

If you have some time to wait on the phone I would suggest calling tech support and immediately ask for a manager. They seem to be much more informed. I went through two tech support people who were clueless before asking for a manager who then explained to me I can't modify my reservation because it was booked by a TA. I was surprised that the first level of tech support were unaware of that since it appears to be a common issue/question.

Well I lost my DD8 in MK and she was found! Best place to get lost huh?

We lost dd10 at AK. It was a pin trade gone bad. She thought we had heard her her that she was going to trade with a CM. We were leaving safaris. Well she had the wrong bald white man in her peripheral. We were off never heard her and thought she was behind us - I was pushing the stroller with purpose to Lion King. We hit the bridge and dh is like DD10 is not with us. My knees go weak and I start running back. My disney loving efficient thinking husband stops me and says she is back at safaris you go get seats at lion king I'll grab her and meet you there keep your cell on. Sure enough she looked up saw that we weren't there and just stayed with the CM until dad came back. She followed the "if we get separated" instructions to a tee. Lol. I'll never forget my husband still wanting to get good seats at Lion King. It was so quick that the CM didn't even send out any alerts yet. He said we knew you'd be back.

I found the same with the Disney springs resort. Have you looked at bonnet creek? Check them out.
