Not sure if it's available at Ohana but I imagine so. Personally not a fan of Ohana.

As for the reserve blends, yes. Here is a link. http://roastery.starbucks.com/reserve/

Can I ask why not a fan? I've booked it for our first night dinner when we arrive in Orlando. We're quite foodie, but I know atmosphere and "fun" can balance an average meal. By the same token, I don't want to pay for rubbish!

Just don't think it's worth the cost, even though it's all you can eat. I don't like the dessert. Years ago they had fresh pineapple with warm caramel sauce for dessert. It was so good. The atmosphere is very nice though. You may enjoy it so give it a shot.

Have you considered if they only offer qs dining for the mods staying at a value? Two rooms at a value are cheaper than one room at a mod.

There's only 3 of us, so we don't need 2 rooms. And we will upgrade dining to TS as it's our first time to WDW, and we have lots of ADRs we want to do.

Even if I change to Pop with free dining upgrade it's the same price as CBR (well, it's $6 cheaper across 8 nights, but I'm calling it even) when I account for the value of the gift cards. And I have worked out how we can use the gift cards so they're real value (things we would be paying for even if we didn't have them) and not wasted value.

Oh ok. I agree if you have gift cards it is totally worth it to stay at CBR. We are looking to stay at All Star Music this trip. All previous trips we stayed at Pop. We would prefer Movies over Music but that hasn't been a part of free dining in awhile now. The last time I saw it as a free dining option was with a pin code. My son would really like Art of Animation but I can not justify the cost and it would mean staying for less time.

I grew up in Holly and love Ren Fest! My DD thinks the purple sand is the coolest thing ever. I agree about the crowds there though. Last time we were there they ran out of so many of the food options that we ended up just filling up on pickles and beer.

You make that sound like a bad thing!

It's gotten so much worse in the last 4-5 years since they opened the "back" section; behind where the joust stables were. With the "mermaid" and all of the newly minted crap from china.... I realize it's dating me but when I started going 19 years ago (before kids and even after) DH and I and then the kids as well would sew our own costumes and go dressed up. All of the items had to be hand made by the people in the shop. Now it's anything and everything a chap can unload is sold off a barrel.... some of that is because a few years ago they got cracked down on for the buildings not being up to code and for letting the vendors sleep in them. I guess they had to make the money up somewhere. The last 2 years we were there they have run out of food AND beer in a couple places.

Granted it's only $25 a day but unlike WDW there is no A.C., running water or fabulous eateries.

This. We have CBR with GCs. I've run the numbers and staying at Sports would be nearly the same cost for five nights.

So my TA was able to switch out my Savory Summer Offer (1 CS meal per person per night) to the Canadian Ticket Offer with a RO Discount. I went into my reservation but noticed that my niece appears to have 2 sets of tickets listed. Anyone know what may have happened? I certainly don't want to pay for an extra set, however if they want to give me an extra set I'm fine with that.

We went 2yrs ago the day after Labor Day and crowds were SUPER low. I was pregnant at the time but my husband and son went off and right back on the most popular rides. Pic is them front row with half empty coaster.

Wow, that was awesome! Thanks for your reply!

If you have 2 rooms in different reservations, can you use the dining credits for anyone in the party or are they tied to your name? How about someone who's not staying in your hotel (for example, you met with a friend who just purchased tickets and you pay for their meal)?

For example, Rm1-3A QSDP, Rm2-2A DxDP. From someone's suggestion earlier in this thread, I get 8 more credits QS and 8 TS credits this way for only $70 more (compared to both DDP). I just have all of these credits left now. LOL.

NO! No sharing credits! The server will verify your identity using fingerprint verification and a cheek swab DNA analysis to verify your true identity.

(Kidding!)

Yes you can do that. And it's a very savvy way to customize Dining credits to fit your needs when booking two rooms. Credits are charged using your Magic Band along with the 4 digit PIN you will set up. So just make sure you have the proper MB and PIN# that coincides with the meal plan you want to charge it to when the server comes to scan at the end of your meal.

How many nights are you staying there?
-Deluxe plan includes 3 Table service and 2 snacks per night.
-Quick service plan includes 2 Quick (a.k.a. Counter) service and 2 snacks per night.
You mentioned you would get an additional 8TS and 8snacks using this strategy and I couldn't figure out exactly how many nights. It seems you may be getting more TS than you think.

I think it was about 4 years ago when I last went to Ren Fest. I did notice more of the made in China crap and much worse crowds than previously, but we still enjoyed it, even the pickles and beer. My DD was 3 and ate an entire huge pickle by herself! I'm sorry to hear that it seems to have gotten worse recently. I used to love all of the homemade (though pricey) outfits, blown glass, apothecary items, etc. It helped to set that authentic "times past" atmosphere. I remember my mom buying a completely homemade Renaissance dress from there nearly 20 yrs ago, uneven stitching and all, but it was still great quality and clearly hand stitched and dyed. Unfortunately it sounds like those are all things of the past (ha), but I probably will still check it out and see all of the changes for myself.

Sorry for the off topic trip down memory lane, everyone.

Good morning everyone. I was off since 6:30 last night and just reading through what was posted I just want to clarify some things.

Here is what I've been told:

Offer will drop on Monday 4/24.

Disney Visa holders will not be able to book before the GP.

Values and Mods will get QSDP.

I read someone posted last night that I said POR was included in FD. That's wrong!!! POR is included in Aug and Sept for FD, but is EXCLUDED for Nov and Dec.

I also read that I dropped the "bombshell" that PH's wouldn't be required. WRONG!!! I said I was told that "tickets" were required for the FD package. When I asked did that mean PH or PH+'s I was told they were told "tickets" were required. I took that as could there be a possibility that maybe base tickets get it done? I asked everyone to keep your mindset that you'll need PH or PH+'s to get FD. Once again this is my interpretation.

I am trying to find out the starting dates for Aug & Dec. And I also am trying to get more info on the ticket requirements.

I also know that ASMo is excluded along with the Little Mermaid rooms at AofA for the entire FD offer.

I have to work today from 7:30AM EST to about 1:00 this afternoon so if I hear anything new I will let you all know.

Have a magical day!!!

You must always keep checking after FD drops if you did not get what you wanted the first day! Especially 2-3 days after since TAs can hold rooms then cancel! I have ALWAYS gotten FD in a standard room. I personally only like standard rooms because I'm never in there and it pains me to spend a few extra hundred for a "view" I won't enjoy! 2014-called 7am got standard sports no problem. 2015-booked waterview CBR at 6am but changed to standard a few days later. 2016-stayed up all night put a CBR water in my room (no standards avail) went to check on POR on a new opened page and lost both! Do not open a new page-Disney remembers your cart! Was only able to get WL standard and got my parents a king at POR all this was at 4am. A few days later I got myself a CBR water and my parents a CBR water then a few days after that I got us both CBR standard! I was able to modify all myself within seconds! I even did one on the elliptical at the gym! Haha that's how easy it is! Last year was the most work I will say since FD has grown In popularity! But the moral is keep checking multiple times a day to get what you want! Then when you're there this time leave the $200 deposit for the FD BB if available so you don't have to do this anymore!! Hahaha I was surprised with how easy it was to change my FD BB dates! WL here we come!

Stroller Question:
DD 4. DS turns 7 there.
Does anyone know of a good lightweight double stroller with a high weight capacity. We don't even own one now, but I know we will need one. I figured if I have to push something, it might as well be one that can hold all of our stuff (not sure the park ones have an storage) DD son will probably be the one that wants a break more even though he is older. I know they are to old in normal circumstances, but I am really worried about the amount of walking, and crankiness= no fun.
I have a Britax b agile double that I bring every year and will probably continue to bring until my boys are 8! Haha it's similar to the city mini double. My boys are 4 and 5.5 but huge because DH is 6'5". My 5yo is almost 50inches! He looks ridiculous in the stroller but I don't care! It's insurance. I'd rather lug around a double stroller than listen to hot and whiny children....my oldest is a whiner! You can rent strollers or even check local yard sales or Craigslist....you could probably buy a used one cheap!

^Good advice^
I remember last year many on here were reporting availability in the days that followed FD drop for rooms that were previously unavailable.
