I'm a newbie so please be patient Can you combine FD with the summer room discount or do you have to pay rack rate to get FD (we are going at the end of August). ? Also we were planning to get our tickets through Undercover Tourist; can we link those tickets and qualify for FD or do we have to get them from Disney? We haven't been to WDW since 2007 so I feel a little lost. Thanks!

Viajero is Argentinian, the other TA quoted was suggesting a 7 day ticket because that is usually the minimum a South American visitor buys.

I'm staying for 14 nights and I've never visited without hoppers so it's not like I'd affected either way.

Unfortunately, it has to be booked as a package-MYW. It can't be combined with and other discounts either.

For those of us planning an Aug-Sept. trip, will you do MNSSHP? We will be there at the end of Aug. and the parties will start during our stay... Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I'd love to go. If you're going, will you dress up? Family costumes, or solo ones?

We are planning two parties for our September trip! DS (4) has said we are going as Buzz, Woody and Jessie then the other party we are going as Catboy, Gekko and Owlette (from Disney jr pj mask) haha!!

I kinda wanted my trip to be the 8-18...I can save very good with flights going 7-18...fd doesn't start until dec 8th though. wondering is it worth it to RO the 7th and recheck in for the 8th. Sounds like a pain...wonder how often they let you keep same room if you book same level?

POP is set up differently than the AllStars. I would book standard there and keep looking for preferred. Most of the areas are not far from the food court or buses. Just do some research and then request a closer room

So you're saying there's not as much walking in the regular rooms to the food court at Pop? I have studied the maps, but it's hard to gauge when I've never stayed there. We loved our room at ASMu, but it was a regular room ALLLLL the way at the back. Made for a long walk bringing breakfast back to the room!

If I am unable to modify a current reservation to include FD can I create a new reservation for the same days even if I don't have the original cancelled That would have me with 2 exact same reservations booked. I am scaredn to cancel my current reservation and not be able to get bak in.

I'm so sorry if this has already been answered but my weekend is crazy and I have approximately 5 minutes until my next thing.

Can someone who has gotten FD online before help me out? I currently see the 'change reservation' option so I'm pretty sure I can do it online. Do I change where it says Package and there will be a FD package option or do I change at the Dining Plan section and there will be an option for the free one??

I hate to be a downer, but it is understandable if questions are asked repeatedly at this point. With the rate that the board is moving and how active it is today, it's almost impossible to review the posts for relevant information without taking a large amount of time to sift through the pages. Unfortunately, for a lot of us it isn't the "weekend", so we may not have time to go through 50+ pages looking for bits of information. I'm grateful that there are people on here willing to answer this newbie's questions even if they have seen them before

Yes, you can have more than one reservation at a time. My suggestion is to not cancel your current one until you book the one for FD.

Not gonna lie, I freaked a little when people posted that. I'm not overtly happy to be staying at Pop, but having to redo all my plans for a deluxe resort after getting all my plans sorted out and being happy with my savings wasn't what I had in mind for a Sunday.

But as they, hope for the best while preparing for the worst. My battle plans are ready!

I am currently holding two reservations.....one for Pop and one for POR. Both are for same dates using the same MDE account with same travellers. I am undecided so far where I am going to stay but I have the room category and rates locked in for both. I'll probably make up my mind after free dining drops and I see which one make the most sense.

It's not a pain, you can note your second reservation on your first one if you call, which I'd do either next week or the next, because this coming week will be extremely busy and you'll have to wait a long time!

Hey friends I always stay at CBR or POR. But I'm trying to help a friend. What values are available for FD? I know that only suites at AOA are available for FD. I just not sure about the others. And I know we don't know for sure but historically asking. Thanks and I've loved this board the last 3 years. You guys are the kindest and most helpful.

Going 9/1! First party! I plan on dressing up though I have no idea as what. We are doing a mother daughter trip and I'm still trying to convince her to dress up. I'm hoping she will do a character shirt at least. We shall see....

But most of the time they don't have to read pages and pages of this thread- same questions asked every 1-3 pages. a pinned post at the start may have avoided this, but a bit of reading would too.
