What do you always plan to do but never accomplish?

Oh yes forgot about the MK train!
Was in my rough plans for about 4 different days on our last trip and never happened.
It just seems like a pain with the stroller, but I still want to try sometime!

Jelly Rolls! We've been to Disney over a dozen times and often stay at the BWI but for some reason we just haven't made it yet. My son went to the dueling piano's at Universal and loved it so next trip it will be a priority (again)!

Those who haven't tried Tom Sawyer Island yet, it's definitely worth checking out! It's one of my son's favorite things about Disney. It's not usually super crowded, there are plenty of shady spots and lots of cool things to explore! It's nice to have some unstructured play time in the midst of our highly regimented Disney vacations. ;)

We've wanted to go to MVMCP for a few years now, and it's never worked out, so we're excited to finally be going this year!

The one thing I always want to do in the planning and never seem to get around to is the minigolf. I just never seem to get around to it. There are a few attractions that I have never done: Tom Sawyers Island, Magic Carpets, Triceratops, Disney Junior. Some attractions that are gone that I never got to. Some attractions that are new since my last trip.

I second mini golf. We got so close once, but lightening started and that was the end of that.

I was going to say Tom Sawyer's Island too! And Liberty Sq Riverboat. And Country Bears Jamboree.
We did Swiss Family Treehouse and Enchanted Tiki Room last time so can cross those off the list!

I've never done riverboat but my husband and son have. We did jamboree for the first time last year because we were with friends and the husband loves it. Lol. It was interesting!

I took my daughter up tree house when she was two. Why you ask? I still don't know. Maybe we will try that one again one day...

I can't count how many times I said we were going to tour all the hotels.

I've seen Beach Club (always stayed there, upcoming Polynesian), Boardwalk, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, AKL, Wilderness Lodge and Polynesian.
I have yet to see any of the moderates or values.
I will try yet again this trip!

Usually it's to try a new restaurant or treat but we always love our favorites so much that we tend to stick with what we like! More risks need to be taken!

For me, it's rope drop a park/see the welcome show. I'm an extreme night person (my normal work hours are 6pm-3am or so) and I just cannot force myself to wake up that early. Every trip I say I'll do it at least once, then inevitably I decide sleep is nicer. Next week I won't have that option, since my DVC Pandora preview is at 9am.

For us it's Tom Sawyer Island. Every trip we say we will go over there and relax for a little bit and let the kids play and we've never gotten there! We always end up staying on the rides, meeting the characters and eating snacks! LOL

Anything your family always plans on doing but never does?
That is exactly what I was going to say:rotfl: Maybe some day we will get to Tom Sawyer's Island.

We began taking the train the past two trips from Splash Mountain to Fantasyland. Makes a nice ride and time to relax a bit.

Fireworks.

We are morning people/rope drop fanatics :sunny:... making it to fireworks is always a challenge!

I'm the exact opposite. I've seen Wishes/Illuminations/Fantasmic, but I have no idea what rope drop looks like.

The only recollection I have of anything rope-drop-ish is the Space Mountain Run back in the early 90s. This was well before FPs (either paper or current). The only way to get on Space Mountain without waiting 2 hours was to get there at park open, and RUN FOR IT! There was some side entrance to MK that was a little closer than Main Street, but I can't remember where it was.

But to answer the question directly, mini-golf. I want to do it, but I always think "eh, maybe some other time." Also Disney Springs. Last time I went there, it was still called Pleasure Island (!)
