I won't take my phone out on Everest or something but I don't worry much about mine train. Mickey bars definitely complete the trip.

Fell behind! Just catching up now.

Trolls show performers are incredible. With random pictures, their feet are completely together. Disney performers are so incredible.

Heat looks intense, but crowds look OK! It's great you're there having a great solo trip.

Crowds were high but nothing unbearable.

You definitely hit up a bunch of great rides - definitely understand the desire to take a break back at the room with the way the heat was

Too bad about missing out on the fireworks from the TTC - but can understand your thinking with the clouds/weather (thank goodness it held off for the night though!)

Yes the heat definitely made me decide to take that break.

I did really want to see the fireworks but with the impending weather I didn't want to chance it.

Catching up on your TR - There is something special about solo trips to the parks. I hope you enjoyed it.
Speaking from experience, parades and shows are the HOTTEST sets for characters. An hour or an hour and a half with no breaks and constant motion - you are soaked through when you're finally done! But it's so worth it when you get to see so many happy smiling faces all the way through. :goodvibes

I'm excited to read about the meet-up. I hope you got to see Illuminations!

Making people smile would definitely help me through it.

The party is coming up next!

Playing catch up.......

Dole-Whip!

Nope, not me. I'm one of those weird ones that does not like Dole Whips. It's chocolate or nothing for me. :rotfl:

I could ride this thing all day long!

Couldn't agree more. I love it when it's really low crowds and they let you stay on. Of course I haven't seen that in a few years.

The Tomorrowland Showbot was out and about.

I need to try and find him next January!

After the Main Street band was playing in Storybook Circus.

Much better than that scary clown band that sometimes performs!

Great Moments in History with the Muppets.

Another one I have yet to see despite having been there several times since it started. It's high on the priority list for January.

My favorite bear of them all! Big Al!

I don't know how these performers do this in the heat.

Me neither! And other than the one lost boy they all look cool as cucumbers!

Hi Minnie!

Love this shot! :lovestruc And also the ones of the Maleficent dragon.

You really got a lot done that day! Too bad the weather prevented you from seeing HEA. Can't wait to read about the event that night.

Chocolate is good too!

Low crowds? What is that? :)

I really like the muppets show. I've only seen the one version of it though.

Yeah I was very happy with how much I got done. I'll for sure see HEA in January.

I am definitely going to try and fit this in on the Wednesday night..we will see, I'm such a granny I can barely stay up past 9pm on a normal night, let alone one where I have to get up at 4am the next morning.

It's Party Time!

And now for the update you have all been waiting for, or at least that I have...

So I arrived at Epcot and saw Jackie (WebmasterJackie) also arriving so I followed her in. She is such a nice person. All of us Disers who were there for the party were told to stand over near the far left of the Epcot turnstiles. While waiting I talked to some of the Disers I had met earlier in the trip. I also finally met someone I was incredibly excited to meet, Michael Bowling! Michael is the DIS historian and is on the Disneyland edition of the Disunplugged. Of all the team members I was most excited to meet and get to talk to him.

Then finally after they cleared the guests out were told to enter. People quickly moved their way in and scattered throughout Future World. I found Phil @TheMaxRebo and a few others like @GAN. They were headed to Test Track so I headed with them. It was actually Phil's first time on Test Track (Yeah crazy right?).

Test Track is always a great time. It was really fun with all Disers.

After that we headed over to The Land pavilion to check out the food and such. We were greeted with this incredible cake...

Looking down... John and Kevin in the bottom left, Jackie to the right...

We grabbed some of the snacks and cake then headed back upstairs. Up there we saw a bunch of people we knew from Tom Bell (Disneyland team), Tony Spittell (Disneyland team), and some other Disers.

The Jodi Benson concert would be starting soon so we had to head over and find a spot.

The concert would be held within the World Showplace building.

Our group stood at a table in the back right next to Corey Martin (DIS President) and his family.

A look at the crowd...

Up Next... Jodi performs!

Really enjoying reading about this event! I wanted to come so badly but I had already done my Wishes farewell trip and couldn't swing another one.
