Character Meets--no kids

So who has done character meets without kids? I sort of want to do it, but it seems like it would be really weird. Anyone have any advice? Should I just give it a skip? or should I man up and meet Cinderella?

If I didn't have my daughter, I would still do tons of characters meets. They're fun! Don't worry about what anyone else thinks, the CMs won't treat you any differently or anything. Go meet Cinderella!

In January, my cousin and I (late 30's) met Anna/Elsa, Joy/Sadness, Tiana/Rapunzel, Goofy/Donald, and Chip/Dale. We were not the only adults in line without Kids. I have met many characters in previous visits, even on solo trips.

I don't have kids and do characters meets all the time, it's only weird if you make it so. They will give you as much attention as you give them, so it's really up to how you react to them.

Just got back from a trip with (adult) first timers who were more excited about meets than rides. We did tons. Nobody cared. (I am not into meets and generally hide behind my camera - had several characters draw me in despite me clearly staying to the side. Proof positive that they don't care!)

Solo adult here who has done meets and character meals and had good to great experiences. I had a nice visit with Cinderella this year at Princess Fairytale Hall; she was very sweet and chatty. (I think she was a bit lonely because a lot of us were in her line primarily to meet Elena). CM handlers have been great and welcoming, and if I've ever gotten any looks from guests I haven't noticed (and wouldn't really care).

Did a ton of character meets and meals before we had kids. Nothing to feel awkward about.

I am going solo in October and I plan to do as much character interaction as I do when my niece goes with me. I love the characters and they are what makes it a Disney vacation for me. Believe me, I have a hard time passing up Eeyore or Donald.

Plus I have seen so many adults in lines without kids I figured it is okay for me.

When I flew solo a few years ago I found myself doing a lot of character meet and greets. The characters were great and to combat my own awkwardness and shyness I had something for them to sign (reusable canvas bag with sharpies) and made sure to have a few questions to ask. Go and meet Cinderella and have an amazing time!

All adults, we do it, they seem to really enjoy the adult interaction - had some great ones and GREAT photos when DS does selfies with them.

My husband and I do it on every trip. It's not weird at all. You will see lots of adults doing so. Go and have a great time.

I did Cinderella's Royal Table twice before I had kids! Once with my best friend and once with my fiancé. Seriously, people do it all the time.
