Best grocery delivery options for WDW

I haven't used Garden Grocer in years, and wow, the prices have me totally shocked. I don't remember them being that overpriced in the past. Are there other options? This will be for a stay in the cabins, and we won't have a car.

Thanks!

Nevermind! We just decided to bring an extra suitcase with dry goods and then just use Garden Grocer for perishables. Then we can use the empty suitcase for souvenirs, etc.

We take a suitcase of non-perishables. In the past, we'd just pick up a few things from the resort store. Because we only grabbed a few things, it was cheaper to do that than go with Garden Grocer. But this last trip, we used Amazon Prime Now. Prices were very reasonable and we ordered all the fresh and perishables we needed. There was even a $10 coupon we applied. It was a great deal!

I switched from Garden Grocer to Prime Now last year. I found that with a minimum order of $40, delivery fee and tip, we were spending a minimum of $60 for groceries. I ended up buying things I didn't really need, just to hit the minimum purchase amount. With the Amazon Prime Now option, I can order just what we need (usually some fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, frozen sausage and English muffins) and I can have it delivered within a few hours. Last year, I placed the order while we were on the DME bus and the groceries arrived shortly after we did. The best part is that I can use Amazon gift cards to pay for it. I earn them for free from various rewards programs so that makes it much better on the budget.

We just used garden grocer. It was overpriced but everything arrived with no problem. Except bell services had to deliver three times because they were not thorough in checking to make sure they had all our items. That's a WDW problem though, not a garden grocer problem

I was just going to ask this today. We've always used Garden Grocer but I was hoping there was a cheaper option. One of the big things I buy is beer though so its has to be somewhere that will deliver alcohol. Its so much cheaper for us to have a case of beer and water bottles delivered then to buy onsite. But then I spend a bunch trying to get to the min amount. I haven't even looked on garden grocer yet for this year but was just wondering if there were new options.

Instacart delivered a few bottles of wine to us. it was pretty nice!

I used Prime Now for my recent trip and was happy. I didn't get any perishables but some first aid supplies that I needed for really bad heel/ankle tendonitis. It's pretty amazing the breadth of products they carry.

So if I have wine or beer delivered someone has to be in the room to accept it?

I posted this on the Camping Forum and figured I would post it here as well.

Have always used Garden Grocer but there prices have seemed to have gone through the roof. A 40 pack of bottled water from Nestle is now $11. A gallon of 2% store brand milk is $5.39 and a 1/2 gal is 4.29. A cup of Chobani yogurt starts $1.99 :eek::eek:

Amazon Prime Now has a 24pk of Zephyr Hills water for only 3.33, their price for a 1/2 gal of milk was about $3.50, and the yogurt was $1.00.

So it's going to be Prime Now for this trip.

Did you have to be there to get it? We'll be at Epcot all day our first day and I'd rather pay more then have to sit in the room to get our groceries. Ugh, it might almost be better to use Prime to get a few things and just not buy the case of beer. Its just so expensive at the resort.
