Good idea! I do have it. I've used the online check in but never the check out, so I'll have to look at it when we stay at a Marriott before this one. I'm glad @jhoannam told me about this because I had no clue!
Honestly, even if you forget to do the checkout, they will just check your room sometime Monday morning and check you out automatically when its clear you've left.

I really feel a twitch to just book something... DW has already warned me no more trips this year as Disney three times is 'overly excessive.' Me - Eh, we can get another in!

There was one year in my early days of being Disney obsessed that I went five times from Maryland. I had an annual pass of course but DVC only covered 2 of those trips at Boardwalk. I stayed at Coronado Springs on one and at a value resort, and also on a special at Vistana Villages that I booked in Boston while on another trip there for 4 nights $199 and sat through the timeshare spiel. The timeshare talk was about 90 minutes but they gave you breakfast and I brought my youngest which of course she was twitching all over the place.

In your great knowledge, oh wise one :worship: would summer 2019 flights release around the end of this year? I was trying to figure that out the other day :)

  • Aug 28th - travel through June 1st, 2017
  • Nov 2nd - travel through August 6th, 2017

Yeah I justified the AP with "well we saved 75k SWA points in this trip....." then it was "well I moved the BB/Dining offer from Disney to Chase and saved........" to justify the October trip.... By then I was already getting the look, I attempted another but lets just say it was only hypothetically speaking. :rotfl2:

a friend of mine who recently went to exuma has said that thats probably the bluest water u will ever find in the world. She also was went to Atlantis but said it was as crazy good as ppl say. I kinda looked at it for her and helped her with a game plan with Atlantis, we found that the comfort inn is probably a good deal to do instead of Marriott. for her, it was like $220 for 2 night, includes atlantis access, breakfast. I also found out that Atlantis owners are having a dispute with Baha Mar so they only allow certain hotel guest in. I think i good idea would be to hit Atlantis with comfort inn, then move over to Baha Mar using Hyatt points.

I think the next watery destination for me is Exuma. Hawaii was originally on my list, but that no longer in the plan. I may still try it on my own though.

Our little local coffee shop has pics of the owner's daughters at Exuma on the wall and I was enthralled. Looks beautiful! It isn't the easiest place to get 6 people to, unfortunately, so while it is on my list it needs to be planned way in advance, as soon as flights drop to snag good award seats.

I think I'm going to buy 30000 SPG points today so that as soon as DH hits the MSR on his SPG Biz, we'll have enough points for a cat 6/100,000 RR points nights & flights package. I think this is my best move since I want RR points in order to book flights for next May. I'm going to buy through points dot com, using topcashback, and put on DH's SPG Biz. Am I missing anything here?

WOW!!! i haven't been on in a couple of days. i cant believe some of the avatar changes. i saw a few and was like someone new, cool and then was like wait a minute lol.

so i just wanted to say that the CIP is dead to me lol. i got flagged from plastiq and could not get my mortgage to go through. i tried everything last night. good luck to everyone else. it was a fun ride while it worked. Now if SW would only open up to book flights.

Oh man, boo. Open an account for p2? I am leaving my scheduled payments scheduled since they didn't cancel them all, just one. I did change the category of my payee to utilities. Maybe it will squeak though, but I assume $4k in utilities might draw attention. :rolleyes1 My next plan is to open an account for DH and break it up into weekly payments with utilities as the payee.

The wanna get away fares to go home for thanksgiving are gone already for me.

I never have any luck on opening day. I always still get good rates for Thanksgiving later on. Just keep watching. The caveat is I am not ever traveling the peak days, though (wed/sun). Last year they just kept dropping and dropping until it was like 3k miles each way.

Looking at flights for my DD to come home from college for Christmas on SW. Flying from Chicago to Pit it is 1 hour 20 min direct flight. Or she could connect in Atlanta or Orlando or other goofy places! lol Do people really buy these flights?? Also forgot I have no SW points.:sad: Will have to look to see if DH has some I can raid.

I can never do Thanksgiving air travel again. Two years ago we went to Chicago to see my parents and the flight out of MDW was crazy! The security line went ALL the way to the train station! Took hours to get through it, we 'missed' our flight but actually lucked out since the crew was late getting through security down stairs too we made it!

I’m up early waiting to book Southwest flights lol.

We are going to go to the Aquarium and the beach today. I sent my pictures to a family member of the dirty hotel room and she said that was unacceptable so I will go down to the front desk and maybe they will make it right.

I hope they make it right for you - fingers crossed!

If you like to walk, take a right on the beach and walk past the public beach way way way down to the end. This is our "go to" spot when we cruise DCL. Its protected and great for swimming + very quiet and beautiful. Love it there!

Oh wow, we have never had any issue and we head somewhere warm every year. Usually south FL, which is why I am looking for somewhere new this year.

ETA: @DaveL My gyft purchases have all started going to pending again, so I am in your shoes now. So frustrating! It has happened probably the last 5 times. I ended up cancelling the purchase 4 of those 5 times.

So as is my usual SW opening day experience, flights to SoCal are ridiculous for December. I am not even looking at a holiday, just wanted to do Dec in DL as some here suggested. I'm not discouraged though, will keep watching and in true SW fashion, they will drop. SW is basically Kohl's, a pricing model that makes me crazy.:sad2:

I found some non-stop flights from MSP to MCO for Dec. Our AP expired this month and we are not getting new ones until next spring so no Disney this trip. I got DH flights to, I’m expecting DGD will be able to talk him into coming.

Very important question! You’re trying to do a bank transfer, Zelle isn’t necessary since they’re your accounts. Cap 1 will allow you to link to other banks. For a desktop: log in, select the greyed our person button on the right, click “settings”, scroll to External Accounts and click “add external account”, tell it you want Transfers and Payments and follow the prompts from there.

After the account is verified go to Cap 1, click transfer & you can select trans to Memory Bank from Cap 1 and they’ll transfer the funds.

@gottalovepluto Ok, that I know how to do, the issue I was having with that was, Memory Bank will only show me an ACH number, not an account number and routing number? It says in their FAQ that a routing number may not be available?

from yours and mine experience with chase, that could be considered a "Bank Transfer" rather than an ACH... so unless your trying to trigger ACH, need to pay attention how it codes at the end.

@Albort This is the other concern I have as Memory's requirements say ACH deposit, will a normal bank transfer still work? How do I make sure I send it ACH?

Lastly, for those of you who do multiple bank bonuses, what accounts do you use? I can only have 3 banks tied to Cap One and I have to keep my primary account attached. I guess for Chase and Discover I could move all my money to US Bank first, then out to them, as those don't have to be ACH?

I would love to go to Exuma, The Bucketlist Family (YouTube traveling family) has been several times. I’ve seen Delta has RT tickets for 35k, not bad but it’s during the school year.
