What is this 10% back in rewards thing? I've been out of the loop too long!

Is it related to this? Where do you get a 11% rewards coupon for BB?
For the last few months i have been getting this. I have been using it with SB code too.

TO GET 10% BACK IN REWARDS, PRINT THIS E-MAIL TO USE IN STORE OR SHOW IT AT CHECKOUT ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE.

Gotcha. Darn. Who knew that BB cc of all the credit cards out there would pay off in spades this year?!
No kidding!! I get 2% back for restaurant/dining out and 3% back in gas, in addition to 6% back on anything I buy at BB. They also have different rotating categories that offer bonuses (pet care, travel, fitness/sporting goods, travel. etc). I was able to earn 3% in rewards on my upgrade with Delta because I bought it during the month that the bonus was for travel purchases. They also send out bonus coupons for extra rewards for specific store purchases, like now, there is a 16% rewards offer for 4K TVs.

Now I'm kind of sad that DH stopped using his and they closed it...

I searched for this, but didn't see mention of it. You can now buy digital Disney Gift Cards from Target. It's not a huge savings, but I can't tell you how many times I was at WDW and ran out of gift cards. I once even ran over to the Target for more. Driving to the Target on vacation is not worth $5 per $100 to me, but ordering online and combining them with an existing card in my possession is :).

While Target egift cards USUALLY come within 4 hours, there are times that they can take a lot longer. I learned that the hard way during the summer when I ordered an ebay gift card to use during a sale ebay was having. I got the email that the gift card had shipped but not the email with the gift card. After around 4 hours, I called them and they said egift cards are delivered by Blackhawk Network (Target is only the middleman) and you must wait 24 hours before the gift card can be resent. So I called them the next day and Target customer service had to contact Blackhawk Network to resend the gift card and they said you have to give it another 24 hours to come. Of course, another 24 hours had passed and no gift card. By this time the ebay sale was over and I called them again and asked if I could just cancel the order and they said no because it had already been sent , but they will contact Blackhawk Network again and have them send it from a different email. Finally around, 10 hours after that, I got the gift card. I had ordered egift cards from target many times before and this was the first time I had a problem. Suffice it to say, I haven't ordered an egift card from Target since.

The point of this is, do you really want to order an online gift card from Target in the middle of your Disney Vacation, have the frustration of having to call Target customer Service numerous times, probably ruin your vacation - all to save $5?

DoC reporting the 5x UR offer for CSR, CSP, CFU is public. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chas...d-tock-when-using-chase-pay-max-200-targeted/

I went to BB this evening, bought $100, scanned my SB code and used CFU via Chase Pay to pay- fingers crossed! As usual the csr was hesitant to scan the code and said “what’s that?” full of confidence I said “Oh, it scans, just scan the QR code” I think she just wanted me gone so she tried it and then went “it worked!” Lol. Watching for my 750 SB + 200 SB + 6.5 URs + BB rewards now! When calculating my 1.5 redemption rate on URs this should result in like 20% off...

I had a similar experience when I went to BB using only Chase Pay. When it was time to pay, she was insistent that I needed to tap the phone to the card reader, and I politely explained (more than once) that I didn’t want to pay that way, I wanted to use the Chase Pay app and showed her the code. She finally and reluctantly agreed to “try to” scan it, and was completely shocked when it worked. I think she felt embarrassed, but I just said it’s okay, and that I wanted to make sure it charged to the right card. Hopefully she didn’t feel too bad lol.

I got a new cashier a few weeks ago so now he is trained :) today he even asked if it went through when he scanned my code. Last time he asked if it was iBotta, I told him Swagbucks is pretty similar.

Next I will train him on Chase Pay.

Is it 6 URs or 6.5? Regardless, this is great! Can you still use the BB rewards certs to purchase gift cards? I can't recall if that died when gc to gc died.

I was super lucky to get in on the CFU offer a few months ago that was unlimited 3x points for the first year of having the card open (it was only active for a few days). I'm hoping this means my return will be 8 UR total! Does Best Buy sell Visa/MC/Amex gift cards? Could I do that instead of buying Disney GCs?

Some definitely used to but they don’t seem to be out with the rest of the gift cards.

lol. I feel like i have trained a few cashiers at my bb. The security guards already know me there. I am happy when its someone I know at the register. Last time I got a new person ( new to me not the store) and he was not nice. I told him I wanted 4 different transactions. And he told a guy behind me that it would be a while. sorry. I responded to him and said it should not be long. It usually take them 2 minutes tops to do all four transactions.

He was not happy with me at all. He was taking his sweet time ringing up the gift cards to prove a point that it takes longer. It still took him less than 5 minutes I had to keep reminding him to scan my QR code and input my phone #

I wonder where the points show because I went the other day and when I check online it just shows my regular 1% so I was assuming it didn't work.

EDIT: Never mind. I have a "Freedom" card not a "Freedom Unlimited" card. I didn't even realize there was a difference. Boo.

I have the same problem (sad face). Ah well.
