most *A partners are bookable with UA miles. im not sure if there is one u cant book.

I was checking a few times a day...after looking to see if my SW flights have gone down...

I have had my Chase SW Premier for a year. As soon as the AF hits and the anniversary points post I plan to cancel the card. I won't accept a retention offer as I may go for the CP again when eligible.

I also want to apply for the United Mileage Plus Explorer card before Oct 31.

Will closing one card with Chase and then opening another right after be a problem with Chase? Will they look at that as "this person just wants the bonus miles?"

person just wants bonus miles usually means they will look at your shopping patterns. if your one that hits the MSR, then stops, thats why they see u as a churner. (amex in particular).
As long as u follow the shut down rules, u should be fine.

I do consistently put spend on my CSP, CF, Discover IT, and amex everyday. I do not plan to churn those. I haven't put spend on many months on the SW card I plan to close.

I don’t think closing one card and opening another will hurt you...but if you opened the card last year and got the CP...you have to wait 2 years from when you got the bonus points to apply for another SW personal card and get the bonus...If it were me you have nothing to loose to call and see if there is a retention offer on your card....but If you cancel your card make sure you keep your RR points from expiring by doing one of SW qualifying activities ....

Happy day for all you bonus getters today!

I keep checking to see if DH has the 10k pending for referring me to the CSR. Earning next statement.....12 points. Womp womp. I wonder if they are going to deny him the points? I really feel like they aren't going to give me my 50k as punishment for breaking the DD rule.
And I'm POSITIVE @miztressuz will never see her points for my now defunct CSP app.

I still haven't been able to make a $3k partial payment on my account, and it's not like I'm trying to cycle money or anything. I still have the 31.5k limit they initially gave me!

Thanks. I have plenty of qualifying activity; not worried about losing the points. I would rather cancel since I rarely use the card. DH will probably go for CP for 2020/21. So I won't need it again until 22/23 and who knows what the rules will be at that point.

Sounds like a solid plan...and yep who know what will happen with Chase

I also made a run at lunch time. Created an account for DH and put his card info in. (One of the cards I got for him but never gave to him). I went to CVS, Home Depot and Walgreens. Both CVS and Home Depot went pending ASAP but Walgreens is still not Pending. Does that meant the purchase did not go through and I will not be credited?

I didn't realize Home Depot had other Gift Cards. When I went last night on my Account I just looked up at the register and only saw Home Depot Gift cards so got one of those. Oh well, not like we won't use it.

Does CVS have Disney GCs in store? I searched online and couldn't find anything on their site.
How many times can you do it at each store?
