Is your card the new Biz Gold, which was released on or after 11/8/19?
If so, I think the Biz Gold has Pay Over Time already included as a card benefit:
Pay Over Time Option
The Pay Over Time option on the Card lets you carry a balance with interest on purchases of $100 or more.‡
How it works:
Purchases of $100 or more are eligible to be paid over time, up to the amount of your Pay Over Time limit on your account. You can choose to pay for these purchases over time with interest, or you can pay your full balance, whichever is best for your business. All purchases under $100 are due in full each month.
Our suburb is a very nice, lots of new construction (business and residential alike which I do like), high income area. Of course we get what we call the "willco tax" which is named after our county where we get charged extra for everything from contractors, to gas stations, etc b/c of the high average income. We rarely go into Nashville except to go to the hockey rink for practice.
Load of people are moving here...I believe I read 90 people a day. It is rare to meet someone who is actually from here. The downside is people move out alot too...lots of work transfers in and out. The no state tax tax is a nice perk.
I just can't deal with the weather and being landlocked. I grew up around water and I miss it and I want my kids to have that too. And most importantly I grew up around my extended family and that is super important to me too.
But I can see where moving here would be a huge upgrade for people from alot of other places.
I thought it had to do with something like last year was the only time they were going to give us the bonus points on all the various cards...15 nights here, 15 nights there etc. I'm not arguing either. I'm hoping for a suite upgrade at the JW Marco Island...2 nights...a Friday and Saturday. There were three options to choose from. I'd be happy with any of them but not expecting anything!!!Yeah we had some discussion about this back when I (and others) became Plat. With my big (maybe) 1 stay at a Marriott this year, you can tell I’m taking full advantage LOL

Yeah - I definitely didn’t have the 50 nights in any way shape or form. Maybe I ended up Plat due to something related to Marriott Gold via my Schwab Plat card.So it depends on how you got the Marriott Gold pre-merger. If it was a status match from a card, then you got the Platinum but the Platinum Benefit is only for those with 50+ elite nights. If you got Gold because you had the 50 nights, then you'd have got Platinum and be eligible for the Suite Night Awards. Is it possible with 2017 rollover nights you made 50 last year? If so you should have been defaulted into the SNA benefit by 2/7 if you didn't pick one. I see it on the Overview and Activity pages that we have our FNC and the SNA option. I don't see anyway to see what your stats were from the previous year so not sure how you could check without calling in.
New link for Amex 10k MR Pay Over Time: global.americanexpress.com/lending/extended-payment-options/offer?identifier=MHR
It worked on my BGR, which was opened in 11/18. The 10k POT offer did not pull up under Featured Amex Offers when I checked earlier this week. I'm already enrolled for my Biz Plat and Biz Green.
Hopefully this link works for a few folks here! [ETA: May work only on Amex business charge cards.] Easiest 10k MR ever.
That would be crazy awesome! I previously earned this 3 times I believe on different cards so I’d say the answer to your question is probably (but you never know these days with AMEX lol!)Omg! Thank you. I have tried every damn link for this and finally this one worked for me and SO. I enrolled on five cards. Am I really going to get 50,000 MR between us?
I honestly paid no attention to that whole thing, lol. I never selected any benefit - did I default to something?
I think the elite nights count towards the year the platinum status was earned. So they are only really helpful if they would help you get to that next tier. So if you had 70 nights in 2018 and requested the elite nights that would give you the 75 nights you needed for the next year. That was my reading of the available options when I selected the suite nights.Mine defaulted to elite nights, which to the best of my understanding is 5 nights credit toward gold/platinum for next year. Because I had to make calls to get my timeshare days to get counted in my total, I was late with the request. I had to call again, because Marriott still didn't get things right and I got 5,000 points and they let me choose the suite nights. I think the CSR have a little leeway right now and you might want to log in and see if you want to change anything.
Thank you thank you got this on DH Biz green, the only one without it!New link for Amex 10k MR Pay Over Time: global.americanexpress.com/lending/extended-payment-options/offer?identifier=MHR

Legit business, tried because I'm legit curious. I got to the part where it wants my email address. I put in my business email. It came back that it recognizes me and emailed me my username. I was a little puzzled and then remembered the super old ING-now-Cap360-or-something account that I have (not associated with my business email). I tried that login info and it didn't work. I never received any emails at any addresses I checked, it's now been hours. So, I got nowhere.

What is a good age for LL? I think we may have missed the window.I have not booked with rewards, but just wanted to say that my boys absolutely loved the legoland hotel in FL!
Have you considered the Amex Business Platinum? You can call in for the 100k MR points after $10k MSR in 3 months offer. The Biz Plat earns 1.5x MR on transactions $5k+, and since the Biz Plat is a charge card it has no set credit limit. The AF on this card went up recently, but it comes with a lot of benefits, including those that overlap with the personal Platinums, but also a new $200 Dell credit and a year of WeWork access.
From the Biz Plat, you can self refer to Amex’s other cards, including the Blue Business Plus, a no-fee business credit card that earns 2x MR on every purchase up to $50k per year; and the Gold, which earns 4x MR at US restaurants and supermarkets; or any of Amex’s hotel co-brands including the Marriott and Hilton cards.
Let @Albort or me know if you’re interested in calling in for the Biz Plat. We have a few numbers to Amex reps who should be able to make you the 100k MR/$10k MSR welcome offer. If you need more details about calling in for an offer, I can give you a rundown of what to expect.
ETA: I should add that while you’re under 5/24, you should absolutely focus on opening Chase cards and building your UR points, too; because despite the removal of Disney from the UR portal, UR points are still amazingly flexible and valuable. However, if your focus is on business cards, then great because biz cards from Chase nor Amex add to your 5/24 count. The Amex Biz Plat and BBP would have no bearing on your ability to get the CIP, or a second or third CIP, or Chase’s other Ink cards, the CIC and CIU, as long as you are under 5/24.
I am pretty sure my brother-in-law and family just moved to your area. I think it was around Franklin. They moved from Chicago, during the polar vortex, so they definitely see it as a weather upgrade. Lol
ETA- looking at map I think it was Spring Hill area. Not 100% positive. Just know for sure south of Nashville. He did not change jobs, but is working remotely and they just picked an area they thought they would like.
Oh yeah, Spring Hill is the next suburb south of me. I am in a franklin.
Most of us are still trying to space out Chase business cards by 2-3 months. If you’re getting cards across multiple issuers you can move faster. Your plan looks good - just make sure you familiarize yourself with AMEX’s new approach. You’ll want to continue to spend on that Delta card beyond the MSR so they keep approving you for future cards.Wow, this thread is really cooking. I'll need to catch up.
I have not really looked too much at the Amex Bus Plat card mainly due to the $595 fee. I already have the CRS with a $450 fee and was not excited about $1,000 just in fees.
Remind me what the rule is for applying for new business cards? I thought it was one every two or three months?? I'm likely to get the CIP, but the Marriott Business 100k bonus and lower annual fee for the bus card seems interesting too.
EDIT: also, if I add my wife as an employee card, does that card count at all on her credit report?
EDIT part 2: Okay, I think my near term plans for new applications are:
- CIP
- One of the Delta cards (just because of the Detroit Delta hub)
- Marriott Bonjovi card (prior to end of March)
- one of the IHG/Hyatt/Hilton cards.
- Then IDK, maybe another Delta or an Amex.
