Liberty Kids? My kids have watched it. We own the entire series on dvd. I raised my kids on PBS also so lots of Carmen Sandiego, Arthur, Sesame Street, Magic School Bus.

AND, I guess my kids watch a lot of TV cause they watched all those shows too. I remember the heartbreak when Steve left for college and his brother, Joe, came to play Blue's Clues. I'm not sure dd19 ever really recovered from that.

Love that you came out of lurkdom to join in our OT! I definitely remember Fraggle Rock. I watched it when I got home from school!

I was thinking @gottalovepluto had one as well. I've always been intrigued by that card but it seems super hard to get approval for!
As creepy as Steve was, he was always better than Joe. I had a notebook like Steve with the giant crayon. I loved blues clues. I didn’t find out until I was an adult that blue was a girl

My dd19 had the notebook and big crayon too! She also had a 'thinking chair' that looked like the one in the show. I made some blue paw prints, laminated them and would tape them around the house and we would play Blue's Clues. It was definitely one of my favorite kid's shows to actually sit and watch with my kids.

I am still behind 10 pages, but add me to the list of people who are not interested in the added CSR "benefits" or pleased with the higher AF. I don't think we even have doorsash out here, and the ONLY time we use Lyft is occasional Minnie Vans at Disney.

I was debating PCing my CSR in June and having DH apply for one in May (so we still have the 1.5 multiplier). I am wondering if there will be an increased SUB offered with the higher AF???

Long time, slow churning lurker here. Y’all have the best advice and the best board on the Dis. I try to keep up daily... u guys move quick. Just couldn’t keep quiet anymore once the muppets talk started. 😅 Tell me someone remembers that other Jim Henson show called Fraggle Rock? Loved that show but none of my peers remember it!

Yep I remember that one, too!

Simply because there isn't a data challenge that I won't accept...Fine, and done!

I appeared on 75 out of the first 100 pages on the thread! And yes, that is an accurate number pulled from data, not a guess!

Haha! I love that you tracked this. :rotfl:

We're trying really hard to not eat out much. I just do so much better that way. When DD was small and I was running around all the time we did get a lot of take out and it definitely wasn't good for me or DH. Now that it's just 2 of us it's pretty easy to make healthy meals. Having said that, I'd love some good suggestions! And I will mention DTF to DH who loves their food and hates to go to VF. The issue with DTF is that it isn't super close, and cold dumplings (and even worse, cold molten chocolate dumplings) would make me sad.
Agree, the dumplings must be steaming hot! It's definitely in my 2020 goals to take out less. With the new baby and holidays, I think we practically ate takeout/leftovers the whole time from Thanksgiving to New Year. :(

I totally stand corrected tonight. Told DH about DD working for DTF and he's all in. Thank you for the suggestion. It's not exactly what I would call a healthy choice but apparently that doesn't matter when it comes to dumplings and soup. :rotfl:

DTF is more a treat for us. It gets expensive since we eat a lot and there's only 6 to an order. My DD and DS could each eat an order by themselves plus a couple. Do you like Mediterranean food? That's my healthy takeout. I like Oren's Hummus, but there's also Opa, Agape, and House of Falafel.

My new SW card hasn't been loaded to my Chase account yet. What are the thoughts about calling in to Chase to see if I can get the match rather than waiting for the card to post and SMing them? I know typically calling is a no-no but does the timeliness of the request to match override that?

Aaaaaand, there you lost me 😂. I’m definitely a bit, ahem, older than you 😬. if I remember correctly, I was all about Looney Toons and Sesame Street 🤪

Looney Toons, Hanna Barbera (Tom & Jerry was my favorite), Woody Woodpecker, Sesame Street, Electric Company and best of all Mr. Rogers were pretty much what I grew up on.

I didn't watch Fraggle Rock often but definitely remember it.

I don’t think muppets were popular when I was a kid. I watched teletubbies, blues clues, Arthur, zoboomafoo, bear in the big blue house, Franklin, little bear
Oh my, now those shows bring back memories of my 2 daughters. One loved Blue Clues and Teletubbies, the other loved Franklin and Arthur.

Oh decisions, decisions about the CSR. My AF posts in February so I get one more year of $450 and I am hoping the credit card landscape will change for the better before my 2021 AF posts. I use all $300 of that travel credit every year between EZPass, parking, and train expenses, but the majority of my expenses are dining related (I buy food for lunch most days at work).

Being at an airport pretty much operated by United, I'm struggling to give up the URs, but I feel like it's only logical to either switch to the newly refreshed Amex Green as I don't feel like I travel enough for the Plat. Man, talk about caught between a rock and a hard place!

I remember Fraggle Rock and liked it. :-)

I refused to pay for EBCI for Dh and the little kids since their last minute flights were more than twice what I paid for mine.
Just checked them in and Dh/Ds got B50ish and DD2 got C1.
Guess I’ll try for upgraded boarding with my brand new SW performance card or it will be family boarding for us.
SW does offer family boarding every flight right?

:welcome: I love that our off topic chatter brought you out of lurkdom. Definitely watched Down at Fraggle Rock and now I have that song in my head. I was older then so didn't watch many of them but did watch occasionally.

Down at Fraggle Rock! I watched it but sadly don't remember nearly any of the content like I do other shows. If I could find it on a streaming service I could probably get a new series going.

But I also remember that it was an HBO show so maybe that's why not as many remember it? We had cable but I recall I had friends that didn't.

We lived in an apartment for a couple years and back then, cable was provided with rent. So we had HBO. Otherwise I’d never have seen the show cause my mom never paid for cable. I do think that’s why many don’t remember it.
