My question is what about the little ones who will be with us? Can I do "Select all" even tho one is under 3, so no ticket, no scan, and the 3 yr old wont be tall enough to ride-?
Or will I still need to select only those riding?

I have no idea, just wondering this myself. I can't take the 2yo off of MDE, but she has no ticket to be tapped into the park....so guess I have to make sure she's not selected or I'll get an error?

I just wanna say - since I’m in the midst of last-minute prep for our long weekend trip that begins this Friday - I’m a wee bit jealous of everyone who’s able to practice at 7 am (I live in California). On the up side, however, it turns out insomnia is good for something.

Its 6 AM my time, so I used the Disneyland app to practice yesterday . Much more reasonable time lol.

So, I've been personally complaining that O can't practice at 7 AM because that is right in the middle of my commute to work 6 days a week. Then, I see this about the DL app, and of course that would work! So I get myself all ready, waiting, anticipating the moment, watching for my phone to hit 10 AM....and nothing. Land closed, nothing. Oh, right, park doesn't open at 7 AM. (*smacks forehead*). I'll try again at 11. Though, not sure when BGs open out there when they have their 8am version of EMH and a 9am open.

Our experience today in booking a lyft from CSR -- ignore the pick up location choices on the app -- they can only pick up in front of Gran Destino tower. HS bus did stop at bus stop 3 at the Ranchos at 5:30 a.m. and it was empty.

In October, we were picked up by both, Lyft and Uber in the Cabanas bus stop.

Re Friendship Boats from the Epcot resorts: DH and I were walking from BWV this AM between 6:15 and 6:30. We saw 2 Friendship Boats returning from DHS and a third on its way there. So they do start early!

BTW we got BG 84! Fingers crossed we get to ride this afternoon and still make our FoP FP at 6:20!

good reminder to me that I still need to do this - I was able to remove some people but others it says I cannot as they have active plans (even though they don't and haven't in several years) so I need to find time to call

Do they have any Magic Bands? You will need to call IT and completely delete all their Magic Bands (they will not be able to be used anymore) to delete friends and family “with plans.”

I don't, but yes. The 3 times I have been there to get a BG there were a cheering and yelling what number they got.

Yep - it was like being in a bingo hall when someone wins. Shouts of joy/happiness. Then another one. Then another one. And on and on.

One of the more surreal rope drop experiences one will experience in a Disney park, in my opinion.

There are a few different ways to get people on your F/F list, but yes, once they're removed, you need to basically start from scratch as if you were adding them for the first time. I've called guest services a number of times over the years to remove people when I didn't anticipate travelling to the parks with them again in the next couple years. I hate when I have more than 1-2 people on my "select party" list that I'm not travelling with (and with RotR - I wanted to be 100% sure I would not have to scroll at all to select my party!) I wish there was a setting on the app where I can tell it to just always default to the same party that I selected last time.

What's the most amusing is that the rope "drops" and no one moves for about 15 seconds! We were right at the front of the Sunset Blvd. rope on Sunday and it was really funny (well - funny after we got our BG - too tense to notice anything before that).

I should note, in that video yulilin3 posted, I know the feeling form that female vlogger. That nervous anticipation leading up to when the BG goes live.

The tension, drama, and frustration is crazy at rope drop now. The more cheers that go up, the more frustrated other people become. It is so strange... I wouldn’t describe anything about it as fun. But once they start walking you into TSL (or wherever you’re headed) all the tension fades away. 6:30-7:01 though...it’s rough!
