I second Khan academy. My teens have used it a ton. We have a lot of other resources that if you were homeschooling full time, I'd recommend but in the short term, I'd suggest Khan.

Khan is great but sometimes i find their videos very boring... there some other places that can explain it quicker than Khan. Khan is very thorough though...

For many, many months I have been planning to apply for a CIP at the beginning of April (I'm under 5/24 as of this week). Now I'm not sure what I'll do.

I would say apply before the end of the March (based on SFF's history, above). There should be several valid links using the original bonus language. I know I just put one there, when I read about the changes.

Do any of you feel like you’re using your credit cards less than normal right now? With DH working from home, we’re saving quite a bit on gas and commuting costs, parking etc. also his lunches. On the flip side, since he is home, I know the grocery bill will be higher. So it will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
We are working from home also, so saving on gas and eating out. Grocery, electric and oil will be higher than usual.

We are hopefully going to Orlando in October and booked our outbound flights on SW on release day. The reservation still looks the same when I log in, but if I do a search, most of the flights have been cut and there are only 2 flights out (with various stops on their way to mco, for a total of 6 flight options). How does SW usually handle this? Will we automatically be assigned a different flight or will we get to choose? Of the 6 options, 4 of the have 2 stops and I really don't want to get stuck with one of those.

Quoting myself here to say that the flights are showing up as normal again today. My flight was gone for 3 days and I emailed them abut it yesterday, and today it reappeared. So 🤷🏼‍♀️.

@Haley R , Dr John Torres on the Today Show (today), just addressed a couple questions about giving birth during these times. I didn't catch much of the story, but when a lady said she was due in 28 days, I thought of you.
I’ll have to see if I can find it to watch. Thanks!

I just had my appointment with my doctor. Luckily they still let Dh come. My cousin is due a week after me and her Dh is not allowed at her appointments. She cancelled my appointment for next week because I’m measuring fine and there’s no reason for me to come in next week unless I have issues. I asked about the ER situation. She said to call ahead so they can have someone meet me in the ER to take me straight upstairs. There are 3 other doctors in our office but I’m hoping I get my regular doctor. At this point I’m just hoping they don’t separate me from the baby and they let Dh be there for the delivery. She said they’re signing a petition for all women to get at least one visitor. Some hospitals in New York aren’t even letting women have their partner in the room for delivery which is insane

I wonder if you can use the voucher to book a flight for April/May 2020 (since the the change fee waiver applies to tickets booked by 3/31 and for travel through 5/31), and thus reset the issue date, then cancel that ticket and now have up to 12 months to use the resulting voucher from the new issue date?

It might be worth giving this a shot. Probably nothing to lose trying. Thanks for the idea!

Last place I worked would order pizza for everyone and not bother to get plain cheese or pepperoni which I never understood as those two will feed most everyone regardless of whether they like fancy or not. Plus they are cheaper than the others they'd ordered. I gave up and would just bring my lunch like always on pizza day.
This was what I did for my team, as cheese was fine for the vegetarians in the group until the one guy gave up cheese as well. And we had someone gluten free so we had to order a gluten free pizza or salad for that person. Really hard to order for a group anymore. Not suggesting everyone do this but almost have to order individual meals.

Oh goodness. Email from Costco about my final payment being due for DCL. DCL extended payment date 30 days. My original Costco due date was 3/29. I know I had a balance of $213. Now it's showing $0 balance. I guess I have to call Costco. Ugh.

Michigan went to shelter in place yesterday and I’ve already seen a bunch of comments from people who are planning on heading “up north” (where I live...where we have 3 confirmed cases, but almost no tests) to their cabin/cottage. NO. STAY HOME. UGH.

DH is considered “essential infrastructure” so he is going to continue to work some (but all of the builders have closed for the next 3 weeks so he doesn’t have much work available and says he won’t work if other people are at the building.)

I cancelled our frontier flights on Monday. Booked my fast passes on Tuesday (even though I don’t think we will be going.) And we are half way through our MSR on dh’s cip less than a month in. I should probably get my app going for mine in case they go to the 15k offer, right? Does it tell you what the bonus is before you apply, or only after you get approved?

Okay I had to cancel a companion pass and knew I was going to re-book it so I choose hold for future use for the 5.60 fee. How do I access it to apply it back to the flight I'm trying to book now? Is it like applying normal travel funds?

Yes for sure. Of course I am meeting two MSR's LOL. I still have property and income taxes to pay, so that will cover a lot of it.
My grocery bill is wayyyyy higher, but I use my red card for that, to save 5%.
