Park reservations to start on June 22nd

That makes sense.
Unfortunate for us because the only parks where we take the bus are AK and MK, the others we walk from the BWV.
Have to plan some sit down breakfasts!!

I'll say one thing, I could never be one of those people who plan everything down to the minute with their Disney trip. Doing this park reservation is stressful enough on its own. I ended up working it all out on a piece of paper before I made the actual ressies, I knew I wanted to do AK on my first day and Mk on my last, but, lordy me, what a blooming pain.

So after getting really frustrated, with lots of crashes and almost getting there, I've finally been able to make 14 days of reservations for July next year.

However, when I tried to make a 15th reservation, the system crashed again - not sure whether that is because of the system crashing, or due to only being able to book 14 days (a 14 day ticket you used to be able to use on your check-in and check-out day).

But all this seems completely unnecessary - why didn't they just release the reservations in phases to reduce the burden on the system. Absolutely crazy decision.

If you have a 14 day ticket you would only be able to book 14 days. Yes you can use your ticket over a 15 day period, but you can only enter the park 14 times.

I agree. I don't plan anything. I do book the fastpasses, but that doesn't mean we'll go to the park we have fastpasses for. We usually decide on the same day or day before what to do for the day. I'm kind of hoping there'll still be good availability when we go so we can change our plans while we're there.

I got in after 3 hours. I never want to see Cinderella's Castle again. In that form.

Yes, I'd done a plan beforehand too so I could just follow it. My choices were based around making sure of Hollywood Studios early on for the new attractions, then an Epcot-heavy finale as it's my favourite! Still don't know if it's going ahead though - not only questions around travel restrictions but now also it seems around the hotel, as mine isn't on list of hotels currently scheduled to be opening up to the end of October.

Do you have a link to the list of hotel openings? I'm still living in the faint hope I'll be going in mid September.

what's the dining reservation hack
The castle screen shows when you try to access the park reservation system and it tries to get you to log in. If you go to dining reservations and pick any available time for a DS restaurant, it takes you to a login screen. Once you do that log in, go to the park reservations. You don’t need to actually book anything.

I can get in the booking system straight away via this link https://www.disneyworld.co.uk/experience-updates/park-reservations/ i have not had to wait once, straight in, but then it shows no availability at all for any date on either year?

Does anyone have a different link please?
Under my Disney Experience, click on park reservations line. Then you will see a blue button for Make a Disney Park Pass Reservation.

Try dining hack I outlined above to get signed in first.

I am one of those people who plan literally to the hour, and this is too much even for me.

Ditto. Cinderella castle * shakes fist *

So, after a day and a half of park pass bookings the availability calendar is showing just FOUR instances of open parks having no spaces left:
14th July at Animal Kingdom and
15th, 16th and 17th July at Studios
It will be very interesting to chart how the availability changes over the next few days as more people get access to the system.
