We rode Rise of the Resistance on Walt's Birthday on our first Mother/Daughter Trip! December 2019! Updated September 19th!

He's doing as well as he could be for now. I actually spoke with him on the phone very briefly yesterday and he sounds good. I can't believe it's been two weeks since he's left! That went by quite fast! I hope the next 16 go by as quickly!
 Been thinking of you both. Hope he is kicking Army butt!

I traveled to Florida in December and didn't think it would be that cold and literally only brought sandals and summer shoes...

Oh Kelly!!!!! That's all. Oh Kelly!!!!

People seemed to rave about them but we both thought it was kind of dry and stale.
We took a couple bites and tossed it.
This was our favorite when we did the party a few years back but we also didn't eat dinner so we were happy to have anything that wasn't a cookie.

We talked a little bit, took a quick picture and then went our separate ways...

❤❤❤ I don't think I'd realized that you all had crossed paths

And just like Oh Kelly, here goes the Oh Allie!! At least there is some dairy in there and maybe some veggies in the sauce :confused3

've been watching my parade video lately and it warms my heart.
It may be my favorite parade of all 😍 🎄
Oh I so need some Christmas and Disney in my life. We never saw the parade when we did the party thanks to a certain someone who just wanted to do the rides, but one of these days...

Wow! He's straight outta Lady and the Tramp

Aww, hello cuties!! :)

I also had a couple glasses of wine while we sat there
so I feel like we got a good amount for what we paid.

Plus, we got a reserved viewing area for the fireworks and parade!
That definitely helps up the value. I remember it was pretty pricey, too, but at least if it feels worth it in the end!!

Definitely my favorite current parade!!! Spectromagic will always be my favorite, but I can't get enough of Once Upon a Christmastime!

And you got to meet Tony?! That makes me super jealous!

I have to tell you, you're the reason I actually gave Tony's another try on our trip a couple weeks ago! We had a really bad experience there way back in 2007, and hadn't been back since. I know you always go there, so when we needed a dinner option our first night, and they actually had openings, we gave it a shot. Happy to report that the fettucine alfredo was amazing!!! :) And we will definitely go back.

He moved to Red Phase on Wednesday. He called me and said he's already getting his butt beat (not literally) but he is happy that he is really starting his BT. Three weeks down, 15 to go!

::yes::

December 2021! I'm planning on being there sometime around the 9th for my Birthday :cool1:

It helped that I had already gotten the MVMCP tickets and didn't purchase them all at once with the party. I think I would have had sticker shock!

Spectromagic will always be my favorite,

Can you believe I've never seen that??

And you got to meet Tony?! That makes me super jealous!

Yes! I wasn't expecting it either!

That's awesome! I'm glad you loved it! When (If) they ever bring back the afternoon parade, one of our favorite things to do is to make a reservation there at 2:30 and watch the parade go by

DECEMBER 6, 2019

After our early morning and late night the day before, we felt no rush to get anywhere this morning. I was up first and went and got coffee and breakfast to bring back to our room. I don't know why I don't have pictures of it, but Allie got Mickey Waffles and I got the exact same breakfast I had the day before...
516176
Those cheesy hash browns 😋

I also took some pictures around ASM while I was walking there...
516177

Our building from the outside...
516178

Since we weren't rushing, we just waited for the bus...
516180

and were in EPCOT by 11:24

516182

Our first FP...

Hello, Space Jesus. Glad you're sticking around for a while 🥰

516186

After SSE, we used single rider to get on Test Track...
516188

516190

To be continued...

Ahhh such a great start to your day. I love the cheesy hasbrowns at Crystal Palace, I bet these are similar! They are addictive yum!
I wish I was passing by Space Jesus right about now to ride one of my favorite attractions.
Single rider was the way to go on TT in our old world 🌎 We rode a fair amount this way.

Nice feeling to have at Disney. :)
I gotta say that's how it was last week in Disney- no need to feel rushed (other than trying to get that ROTR boarding group). I wonderful and much appreciated feeling!

I think we left this day? I honestly don't remember lol but a slow non rush morning is great after a late night :)

Sounds like the perfect way to start the day after a late night.

I never knew the food courts had cheesy hashbrowns- YUM.

@suse66 (painfully) reminded me…$99/person. That doesn't sound bad but on top of the $125 we had already spent on MVMCP tickets…well, you do the math o_O
Just add in the exchange rate for us poor Canadians to those numbers.....my total came to $299 CDN. Yikes! Good thing it was a solo trip!

No better way to start the day than with Space Jesus!

I love the idea of doing one of these desert parties, but just looking at the numbers, especially as @suse66 mentions it's nearly $300 Canadian, multiplied by 4 for my family...I just can't do it. Definitely something I would like to do if I ever have a solo trip, or maybe an adults only trip.

Nice easy start to the day after the party. Looks like a beautiful day in Epcot!

Practically perfect in every way :goodvibes

And it's warmed up as Allie's shed her jacket. But having to lug it around the rest of the day didn't get tiresome?

I think layers are the way to go in December. It got very warm during the day and freezing cold when the sun went down. I always lug around a bag so I guess I'm just used to it :thumbsup2

Glad he is too. Otherwise... when else can you use the term "Space Jesus"?

Exactly! :cool1:

Ahhh such a great start to your day. I love the cheesy hasbrowns at Crystal Palace,

I will be seeking these out everywhere I can next trip!!

I wish I was passing by Space Jesus right about now to ride one of my favorite attractions.

Same!

Single rider was the way to go on TT in our old world 🌎 We rode a fair amount this way.

And who the heck knows any strategies now?? :confused3

I'm giggling way too much at "Space Jesus" right now. :rotfl2:

:P It's perfect! I wish I could take credit for it!

I think we left this day?

I think you did too…we ended up adding on a couple extra days at the end ::yes::

I gotta say that's how it was last week in Disney- no need to feel rushed (other than trying to get that ROTR boarding group). I wonderful and much appreciated feeling!

Sounds like heaven :cloud9:

I never knew the food courts had cheesy hashbrowns- YUM.

Me either! But I will be on the lookout for more every time we go now!
😋

:scared1: That's crazy!

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Do you have an idea of your dates yet?

So happy SSE isn't closing or changing for a long time to come...

Me too! Our farewell to SSE would have been in March so I thought we would never see it again!

That is absolutely crazy! I could never do that for four people either! I think you should start planning your adults only trip ::yes::

SOARIN' TO VIA NAPOLI

We headed to Soarin' for our next FP...
517085

Patrick looked a little off...
517086
Isn't that creepy!?

We usually make a LWTL FP foR right after Soarin', but not today.
I purposely made LWTL for late so we could see the new Holiday overlay all lit up ::yes::

Instead, we just walked around enjoying EPCOT...
517088

517089

517090

Around 2:30, we headed to Allie's favorite restaurant in ALL of WDW,
517091
This is the ONE request she's had since we started planning this October trip last year…
we got our October ADR…and when all the reservations were wiped out we lost it…
but I did manage to get it again…let's see if this trip actually happens :sad2:

Anyway, we had a delicious lunch.
We ordered the bread with oil and I got balsamic on the side that was so delicious,
I could have licked the plate clean.
And we split a Margarita pizza that was just so perfect.
In fact, we couldn't wait to dig in and I totally forgot to take a picture
until we were half done!
517093

517097

517094

517095

It's so funny to think how close we were to our neighboring tables.
We literally had a conversation with a couple to my right
and they were the ones who suggested I ask for the balsamic.
I'm guessing things look much different now.

After an amazing lunch, we skipped dessert…for now…and headed out.
