Priceline Express Deals

Ya .. I am almost tempted to go Labor Day weekend and "wing it" on an off-site hotel. If Disney is cutting it's hotels .. I am sure some off-site ones (or Disney Springs ones) are probably cheap too
B resort is $56..
Pricebreaker Holiday inn $41
Is a pretty good deal

So I see a hotwire deal that really seems like pop (murphy bed, bonnet creek, airport shuttle) but it is 4.4 rating. What say you?

Hotwire is now calling Pop a 4.4, which is strange because they say the rating is based on Expedia reviews and I just looked at Expedia and it is still calling Pop a 4.3.

There's usually a lag in between changes in the Expedia and Hotwire systems.
As of today as far as I can tell: Pop is the only 3* 4.4 rated resort in BC on Hotwire.

Also, Good for deal seekers to be aware that Expedia keeps moving the review counts around - On Expedia Pop changed from 1262 reviews a few weeks ago to 1246 today. In the Hot Rate deal I just saw, Hotwire has it down as 1,245 reviews.
All of the other value resorts also "lost" reviews this week.

I guess the 1246th reviewer must have given it such a bad review that it lowered the average.

I just looked at Hotwire again. It now shows 1246 reviews and a 4.3 rating.
Hmm, I checked again and still got it as a 4.4.
But sometimes stored cookies can influence what you see, so I cleared them and then I also got it as a 4.3.
However, when you go right to the Hotwire page for Pop it is still listed as a 4.4. Guessing some sync issues going on, or they are just playing shenanigans like Priceline does by sometimes randomizing resort fees etc.

I was on priceline and saw a deal for 4.5 resort Bonnet Creek area. $153 Reg price $377. Could this be a Disney resort? it said it had a beach front ? I found that confusing

I couldnt figure out how to find that information on priceline but i just did and yes there seems to be an additional fee so I guess that means no for Disney resort
It could be the Swan. Though it’s not a Disney resort, it’s on Disney property, so you can use the Disney buses and Friendship boats (currently not running bc of Covid) and walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Just a tip since you are new to this board: it helps if you include all of the information for what you’re looking at (dates, star rating, neighborhood, resort fees, etc). This way one of the experts are able to tell you what resort they think it is. Also, @JJTNY has an awesome spreadsheet to consult to help with how to figure out what you’re looking at:

Hopefully this board will help you find some great deals as they have helped me in the past!

Just booked POP for $85 night Sept 20-22. Had reservation at $144/ave thru a price protected move from ASMo that I then cancelled. Used the profile posted for Hotwire incl the airport shuttle and mention of murphy bed to "take a chance" and worked. Saved over $100.
