Am I able to ship home both my Droid and saber from the park or is it back at the hotel? I know there is not ship to park entrance right now. I just do not want to lug my Driod around the park all day. Might be better to try for a evening reservation if not.

Can you make the reservation online at 6 am or do you have to call at 7 am? If my DHS days are Dec 3 and 7, can I make the reservation on September 16 ( inside 180 days ) or do I wait until the 60 day mark?

To confirm - I will need to already have a park reservation linked to my account before making a Savi's reservation? We are planning a trip for next month from NY but have held off so far on buying park tickets because those are the only things non-refundable (flights I can get a credit, hotels are all able to be canceled whenever, etc) and once we dump $800+ into those we're either bound to going or have to eat the cost.

Advanced reservations (highly recommended) for Savi’s Workshop will open Sept. 16 via Disneyworld.com or the My Disney Experience mobile app; you can also stop by the shop to check for walk-up availability on the day of your visit. You must have a valid Disney Parks Pass reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios prior to making a reservation for Savi’s Workshop.

I would recommend finalizing your plans prior to the 16th cause Savi's will book up pretty quickly

Usually this wouldn't be a big deal but I know right now with everything going on that things can change in 2 weeks or 4 weeks and I wanted to hold out on spending that non-refundable money until as late as possible. Which looks like it'll be in the next few days unless we decide to skip Savi's!

you can always try for a walk up, the cancellation policy is 1 day and if people don't cancel it's the full price for a noshow so you do find some spots open up BUT with the limited capacity in an already small space it depends on how much you really want to build a lightsaber
You can also risk it, wait until the 16th and see if you can make a reservation without tickets (please let us know if that;s the case)

The announcement of the expanded 30% discount for AP holders - does anyone know if this discount applies to Star Wars items - specifically the big-ticket stuff like the replica lightsabers in Dok Ondar’s or the ANOVOS helmets in the Launch Bay gift shop (my understanding is that the Launch Bay is currently closed, but I wasn’t sure if the gift shop was still open)?

Under normal circumstances, I’d say that would be a solid “no.” But under current circumstances...?

Launch Bay (Cargo Bay) gift shop is currently closed, in any case I don't believe it would be available for that and it clearly says that it's not available for Savi's or Droid Depot packages. It does not specify on Dok's lightsabers but you should always ask anyways just in case you can use it
