***Official September 2021 Thread***

Hey DisneyFanJenn!
I’m torn between September as I’ve heard that it’s gotten much more packed than the “secret month” used to be. You say you’ve been going in September? What has been your most recent experience like — just before Covid?

I’ve heard the hurricanes aren’t anything to stress about? But I’d the whole week and day gloomy and rainy?

I’m torn between Late August 2022 or Mid September 2022 just after Labor Day for 2-weeks!

Yes, we have been going every Sept since 2012. Last trip was for 12 days in Sept 2019. We don't mind the crowds in Sept. We go early in September (usually a few days after Labor Day) when most people don't want to take their kids out of school since it just started. The weather is still kinda hot/humid. Hurricanes never bothered us. We were there during Irma and had the most amazing trip.

Just booked a last-minute overnight trip to see HEA one last time since going on 9/30 is clearly not doable now, for 9/11. I looked at the calendar and it says MK closes at 7 that night. Should I be worried about the show? I doubt it but came to ask you all!

I am pretty confident those will be extended to 10.

That’s awesome! How were the Park Hours? I’ve heard they close early in September!

I, too, always go in early September - usually the Tuesday after Labor Day. MK and DHS typically close at 10PM and Epcot at 9PM.

I managed during my Sept 2020 trip. I'll manage for this one. Frankly I was planning on wearing a mask on all Disney transportation anyway. And quite possibly in all queue's.

I think I'm going to by several packages of disposable masks this time around. Take a dozen or so with me each day.

Sept 16-25 at Art of Animation! This will be my fiancé's first WDW trip (I think it's my 12th?) and we are using this trip as a sort of "pre"honeymoon - we get married one month after returning home! :lovestruc

For those with DVC, check your e-mail for Remy previews on September 5th, 17th and 20th. I got mine for the 17th.

I'm kinda sad that you must have and activated AP to get the Remy Preview. I have the AP, have resort reservations but can't activate my AP until I get to The World.

My AP expired in June and I was able to renew by phone but can’t activate until I arrive at Disney but I was able to get the Remy preview confirmation with no problem. If you have the AP sitting on your MDE you shouldn’t have a problem.

I'll check again. Thanks!

Edit to add: still can't find a way to access this preview. Website or app.

Going Sept 15-25. Is any one else on the fence whether to go or cancel since Fla is such a hot spot? I'm worried that my work will bring back travel restrictions. They just brought back mask mandate and bringing back restrictions past the time you can get full refund is worrisome to me. We are also doing Discovery Cove, will they close that? We've all been vaccinated so inclined to just go.

I am going Sept 6-10. I am planning on going but will follow safety measures. I am also vaccinated and don't really mind the mask.
Now I know in the heat it may be challenging but being a 'sweaty betty' doesn't bother me a whole lot. There will be AC to go into and drink lots of water etc....
I am hoping the crowds will also be low as they usually are that week.
So today this is what I am going with....😷
