For those considering getting this gorgeous mother's day cupcake that was in the disney food blog. View attachment 667872

I went over to CBR to treat myself since I'm here alone on mothers day. I saw this is what they are selling. It was like the wish version.

The buttercream was definitely too warm, either before they piped it, or after it sat and melted to be worse off. That said, roses are tough to make, and having done some myself I give a bit of leeway to the workers. That said, had it not been melted, it would have looked a lot better.

Edit: but looking again, the inner petals of the rose in the blog photo are fondant as well as the leaves. The one from the shop were entirely buttercream. But I’ll stand by the fact that with buttercream that was not waaay to warm, it would have looked considerably better as well as tastes better then a half-fondant half-buttercream rose.

Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Testing New Child-Friendly Option for the Fairways Course

A few days ago, Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf started a test that aims to make the Fairways course a little more child-friendly. As part of this project, numerous pins resembling oversized golf balls were placed on both sides of each hole to signal the spots where younger Guests can begin playing. The pins are located approximately halfway through each hole, giving kids (or adults!) a slight advantage.

The test is likely still in the very early stages. Should it be successful, the carpet could be modified to include a secondary tee pad for children. Disney could go even further and add some character statues or topiaries to make it even more child-friendly in the future.

In addition to that, the course is receiving minor improvements in other areas, including the replacement of some of the wooden posts located throughout the course.

I’m still surprised after all these years thst the fairways side hasn’t been rethemed to Fantasia 2000 to make it more like winter Summerland which has two family friendly sides of fairly equal difficulty

just caught up on everything i missed while in WDW. came back thursday. had a great time though i got sick on sunday, congestion and a cough. turns out i caught covid while there. i did make sure anytime i coughed i covered my mouth with my arm and was constantly using hand sanitizer and washing my hands. i totally meant to take pics of the resort activities for both AKL and OKW but i remembered it when i was on the plane ride home lol. Welp time to start counting down to my very first Festival of the Arts trip!!!

I was one of very few people wearing a mask anytime I was indoors during my 9 day trip I just returned home from, I'm hoping it was enough to keep me healthy.

I hope you're on the mend soon.

Sounds like it's the usual process to send via email in the form and wait for them to call you. They said they'll process in order that is received. They did state if you feel your dates will sell out, buy through Disney.
