Wow! Watched a bunch of eggspert Youtubers last night and they were saying couldn’t get your Universal AP at the hotel and stressed it.

Which UO hotel ticket desk were you able to pick it up? We’re the passes part of a hotel package?

I have always been able to pick up, buy and upgrade at the HRH ticket desk. I don’t buy tickets as part of a package.

I used a TA for my hotel and AP purchase and picked the passes up for everyone in our family at Royal Pacific ticket desk.

I plan to buy a couple Seasonal APs now direct from Universal and may upgrade one to a version with the 10-15% discounts after.

If your staying on property and parking at the hotel what AP pass version makes the most sense for out of state?

Do you normally get the 2Park version or the 3 if you plan to go to Volcano bay water park once during your stay?

There are no AP benefits for any level for resort parking fees

Last time I checked a Volcano Bay ticket was around $80 so you can do the math on which is best for you.

You can pick up your AP at any on-site hotel IF you paid for it in full only. We picked up our APs last August at the Dockside ticket desk. Was very easy. We had purchased through Universal online and paid in full.

If I buy an Annual Pass now I can’t get it mailed to me? I have to show up in Orlando and pick it up at the Park or maybe somewhere in City Walk?

Sounds stupid. I arrive at a Universal Hotel but can’t check in until after I run to the Park gate, wait in line, get the Pass, and skeedaddle back to The hotel. Yikes!

We bought APs but did not pay in full (we have monthly payments), so we had to activate at the park. We were able to check in before we got them activated, though.

You can absolutely buy your AP at the Universal Ticket Desk in the hotel (not check in, it is a separate desk) every Universal Hotel has them in the lobby. Just wait and buy them there, not online beforehand.

If you purchased a “special promotion” online and need to make a complicated upgrade, make changes, change a name, someone else paid for them as a gift, etc….etc….etc….
Then you may have to visit guest services at the park.

I have used the AP rate and then purchased our AP’s at the hotel several times in 3 of the Hotels, RPR, SF and CB.

I bought promo tickets and was able to upgrade to an AP at the hotel ticket desk. I purchased them and had my receipt so easy peasy.

So do I. All I’ve seen is prices getting higher and higher. RPR has now disappeared off the pass holders page for my dates (still availability on the Florida residents page). I have a room booked at an ok rate but annoyed as I wanted to get my monies worth from my pass.

I'm staying rpr 8/19-22. What dates did they drop off? I'll gladly go back to portofino with an AP discount though.

I’m looking at 21-24 August. We need 4 in a room. Think there are kings still available but the price changes wildly. We have a standard room booked at RPR but would also happily move to portofino or even go club if the price was right but can’t see anything coming up right now.

So frustrating. It's only 2 months away which scares me. I had the AP rate last summer probably in march.

How do you know your getting a discounted rate on the AP web page?

I started looking at Oct and early Dec for SF and RPR and Dec was a little cheaper with SF $230 and RPR $340. Only plain Jane std room showed up.

RPR seems high to me. It seems the SF is now the RPR value rate and RPR. I’m liking RPR better for the restaurant options and the Express pass.

SF restaurant options look limited, nice pool though and has the boat transportation.

I just want to say thank you for the way you responded. It’s like every other forum I see members reacting like “go do a zearch you lazy…”! I always hated those responses. The person can spend the time to message a meanie text but can’t spend the same time a constructive helpful message. Whenever I saw the meanie response I would answer the OP with a happy useful and informative text…PO the meanies LOL.

Maybe its just this forum and the people here but keep doing what your doing
