As some know I’m a big fan of ResortTV1 on YouTube. I was watching Josh last night when he was at EPCOT to show some of the artwork booths during Festival of the Arts. It looks like such a wonderful festival and one I really want to attend one year. So….the question for the day…..

Have you attended Festival of the Arts at EPCOT?
If yes….did you buy any artwork?
If yes….did you take time to look at artwork?
If no….. is this a festival you’d like to attend?
(multiple choice)

*when I say “artwork” it means all types of artwork including sculptures.

For Me…..As some know, I was a custom picture framer for 25 years. During that time I learned to enjoy all types of artwork and I love looking at it. Even if it’s not for me, I still respect the piece and respect the artist & their creativity. I have some nice Disney themed art at home and I’d always like to add to it. One day my DH and I will have to attend this festival to find some new Disney art for the house ::MickeyMo

It is not a festival that would get me into the parks, I'm somewhat tired of the endless festivals they shoehorn into Epcot.

Then there are the overpriced drinks and cold food. Again no thanks.

It’s a good thing we didn’t know art could be shipped. We looked and oohed and aaahhhed but didn’t buy anything. I was cracking up at the T shirts and wishing I got one.# FARTS

I've been several times and haven't bought anything, yet. There was one piece a few years ago I was thinking of buying but when I went back a few days later, it had been sold. This year, I'm on a bit of a mission to find something work appropriate for my new office at work. I've seen several nice pieces in the low to mid $100s before, which is my budget. I'll be there next week.

I"ve never been, but DH just got back from a solo trip, timed to be able to try this festival. He very much enjoyed the food and art booths, and the Broadway concerts, and overall feel of it. Not totally low crowds. Hopefully I'll get to experience it one of these day.

I've been before, and will be going again in a few days...full disclosure: We don't go BECAUSE of the Arts Festival, but we do enjoy it when we are there. We will browse thru many of the booths & offerings. Haven't ever bought anything though, not much to my liking.

I have not been. Eventually I would like to get to the different festivals other than for the holidays which is when we are usually there every few years.

I've always wanted to go and have plans to go the first week of February. I'm excited to finally be able to see everything.

We have gone to the festival in the past and will be going there in eleven days, but we don't go "because of the festival.: It just happens to be the winter break period that we always take.

We check out the art booths but don't buy anything. I don't particularly love this festival. But it is better than nothing. ;)

We went during Festival of the Arts in 2021. Our kids get a week off in February, so it seemed like a good time to go. From the more traditional art standpoint, we spent more time admiring things like the chalk drawings vs. art vendor booths. We were much more interested in the food/drink aspects of the festival. Some also hinges on budget. Part of me would like to come home with some art, but every single time I look I fall for something that's 5-10x (or more) my max souvenir budget.

We've attended the festival, browsed the art, and DD made a purchase.

I went last year and enjoyed it but I do not have plans to go this year. The food and drink options look extremely lacking (and overpriced, but that's the case with every festival).

Just a general comment as I watched quite a few videos of this.

If you get something that is cold - that should not be cold - ask them to remake it - don't put up with paying those prices for cold food. Worst they can do is say no. Several you tube folks asked the food to be remade and had no issues, but you know Disney treats them better so YMMMV.

I'd like to go, but it would be an expensive trip if I went with my DD. She is an artist and when I took her on a cruise, she went to every art auction and wound up buying 3 pieces. One was for me from she and my DS, a Thomas Kinkaid, one was for my DS and one was for her. I can only imagine what she'd find and buy at Disney's art show.

We've been before but never considered buying anything primarily due to the difficulty of getting stuff back to the UK.

Ironically we will miss this year's event by a few days when we could have easily returned home with any purchases as we are coming back by ship into Southampton!!

Unfortunately, we are blocked from taking time off during the time of the festival at my job so I've never been able to go to that or Festival of the Holidays boooooo

I've never been to this festival, though the time of the year seems great, weather and crowds.

I have been to the Food and Wine once and the Flower and Garden at least a dozen times.
