The difference is you're an existing owner. You have prior knowledge of the product where the majority of their purchases are from first time buyers.I have to disagree with you there. We were existing owners but wanted to see the new resort studios. They also showed us the rooms in the regular building. I’m not sure how you could consider the buildings similar when one only has hotel rooms where the other clearly has the larger rooms with the kitchen.
You have to view it from a view of their target audience, which isn't informed buyer's.
I work in wealth management and I look at it in the same light as mutual funds vs ETFs. These two products are vastly different, but most of my clients have no idea what they are or why they matter.
