Character Audition Question!

It's me again, sorry! I know I've posted a few topics in the last few days (I'll delete if needed)! But on my phone interview my interviewer was definitely pushing me to do the audition coming up this october (I'm assuming because of my extensive past in dance).
I wasn't planning on auditioning initially, as the auditions take place in Dallas and I'm in Houston, but she already signed me up during my interview and I'm now planning to go ahead with it! As well as myself, my sister (who unfortunately is still stuck in submission!), is coming along too to audition and she is worried about her braces.
She has a clear set of braces on the top of her teeth and regular on the bottom and would most likely still have them on by the time of auditions but will have them removed by the time the program starts, if she get's accepted. Will this be an issue when she goes to the audition? Thanks!

My dd auditioned in NYC last March. She was pretty sure she wouldn't make it past the first cut due to her height!!! She majored in theatre in college and danced for about 15 years (although dance isn't her strong suit!!). When she had her phone interview, she was told about the auditions, but she didn't have to 'sign up' for them...it was purely a walk in thing. 300+ walk ins!!!! But, she made it through to almost the end. Only 100 of the original 300+ were kept past the first basic audition! Then, they broke into groups, did an improv bit, then learned a dance routine. She danced so much she felt crippled the next morning! She hadn't danced much in college, just a few courses here and there! She made it all the way up to the face character audition. Not many made it to that part.
Today is her last day, performing at our Six Flags. I think she's pretty glad she didn't get cast as a character at WDW at this point. After spending the past two summers hanging out with Foghorn Leghorn, ScoobyDoo and Sylvester the Cat (dancing as Foghorn several times a week!!), she's not unhappy to be out of 'fur'!!!!

If you don't mind me asking, how tall is your daughter? I'm considering attending an audition for the DCP character performer, yet I'm 5'10 and am too tall to be most characters. Besides the hight, I do think I could be a character though.
