COPPER CREEK VILLAS & CABINS at Disney's Wilderness Lodge - Timeshare License

Hello All,

Sorry if this was already posted and I missed it...

It appears the timeshare license has been filed with the state for the new villas and cabins at Wilderness Lodge and is currently under review having been filed on or about 8/1/16.

The initial filing with the Florida Dept. of Business and Professional Regulation indicates 9384 weeks which may or may not be all of the planned units.

Divided by 51 weeks (the 52nd being held back as developer owned) it looks like it's 184 units.

This type of filing, once approved, is usually the green light for sales to begin.

That news coupled with the filing for the work on the models at SSR at little while ago does likely mean sales sooner rather than later. About time to learn what the plan is!

I still want to know the sleep capacity of the units, though!

The cabins (25? 26?) are going to be either 2 or 3BR. But that leaves 150+ units that are... what?

I've said elsewhere, if they can get the Lodge wing in enough order to roll with it, starting sales during Christmas would be a no-brainer for tours. And yes, gotta be at the Lodge. I know they have the "model room!" at SSR. SSR doesn't have the legendary "you should go tour that resort at Christmas because it's dreamy!" reputation.

WL is absolutely spectacular at Christmas! It is the perfect time to start sales.
