Haha yes it was so spooky! It's true the end was pretty bad but the middle was the worst.
 


I'm here! I won't say again how crappy it is that you got sick, because you know that's how I feel :(

We've only been to Universal once since 2000 and we didn't eat at Mythos but it sounds good! I love tomato soup so that's right up my alley.

Mythos is good! I'm a pretty picky eater so I wasn't sure at first but everything we've had is so good.

I think we'd try to eat there if we go back. We ate at Finnigan's (?) which was pretty good and another place in IoA but I can't remember the name; it was REALLY good. Have to look it up :)
 
We have a Fat Tues by us down in Ft Laud right on the beach, but never been there. Always seemed a little gimmicky vs a cool place to hang out. Wonder if the drinks are any better than at Uni though. There are just too many other better spots nearby in our area, but we'll check them out one day. :drinking:

I thought the Universal hotels were all in walking distance of the parks? Is it that the SF and CB are just further away? We're planning a late Jan/early Feb 17 trip and never stayed at the onsite hotels before. Am debating between RPR (free express pass!) or saving some $ by staying at CB and using the extra money for other stuff that trip. Decisions, decisions!

HHN is always a blast - we've done it a few times, but not in the last couple of years. It's definitely on the list next year - along with 15 other things. LOL. Now I just have to find the time off work to do it all.

The pool does look cool, but I feel the same you do about swimming-don't care if I never swim again. We have a pool so Ricky isn't big on swimming when we're on vacation but Chris is, and Steve enjoys going with him. I enjoy :drinking1by the pool!
Hmm, looks like Toothsome was a little disappointing for you :( I just read another families recent experience there in a TR and they loved it but had all different foods than you. Guess it depends what you order. I love cheese too but your flatbread didn't do anything for me.
Cannot wait to hear about HHN!

Haha :drinking1by the pool sounds better than the pool to me too. My food at Toothsome wasn't great, but it was worth it to see the place. It was really cool. Josh had good food though so I would try it again. The apple crepes still sound delicious.

I wanted to see this when we were there! But they were doing the Triwizard Tournament stuff. And it was so hot that we weren't about to wait around.

And this makes no sense! You are so right! I can only imagine how many times the water taxis go down. And how do you pull bus drivers in so quickly?? You'd think it would be more efficient to just have them in place already.

Oh my gosh. Cake! I haven't had cake in forever. I didn't have it anywhere in Disney. I didn't even go to Erin McKenna's because there is tapioca in all their frostings so my Mom can't have any and it just felt weird getting something she couldn't have.

I think I maybe swim once a trip. I also love how the pools look and when I'm walking next to it after the parks I feel like throwing myself in but by the time I get to the room to change, the urge is gone.
