Hello- Our family is traveling to Orlando over the holidays. We are DVC members and normally go to Disney but this year we have decided to go to Discovery Cove and Sea World. We will be staying at Marriott Harbour We are going to Discovery Cove on Dec 26. We will be arriving Dec 24. Any ideas on where to dine, church services or events to see on Christmas Eve? Any other tips, things we should not miss etc? Thanks!

I would spend Christmas Eve at SeaWorld. Make reservations for dinner with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Santa's Fireside Feast, see all the Christmas shows, have your family photo taken in a snow globe, and ride the Polar Express. SeaWorld is THE most amazing place to celebrate the holiday season, so hands-down that would be my recommendation.

I too would probably spend christmas eve in seaworld, baring that, I would go do Ice! http://www.marriott.com/hotel-info/...ntion-center/gaylord-christmas/csyr9pd/ice.mi It's a ton of fun, but the tubing tickets aren't worth it. Do the cookie decorating though, that's a blast.

I have to agree with Gina. We went to Sea World for December 20-22 a couple years ago. Our whole family had a GREAT time, and we plan on doing that trip again in the future. The Dinner with Santa was great. The Christmas shows were super. The park is beautiful. The crowds were nowhere near as bad as Disney, and the cast members did everything in their power to make our trip magical. If you have the chance, schedule a behind the scenes tour. We the the Arctic one, and we would do it again and again. We want to do the penguin one on another trip. The simple behind the scenes tour is good too. Enjoy Sea World. I wish we were going this year.

SeaWorld owns Christmas in Orlando. Some of the shows have a spiritual Christmas bent too.
