Thats my point. Maybe it got lost a bit in translation by the time it got to you (not knowingthe source obviously) and instead of them getting dc and giving marvel to disney (paid for obviously) it is instead they are getting dc to combat marvel at disney. Basically they want a comic series in hollywood as well and this is their way to get it. I dont know, just seems strange they would do all this work on upgrading their marvel area to turn around and need to shut it all down again (though as you said, who knows when the dc contract is up, could be years out. Guess im just having fun with crazy speculation right now. We can ignore this whole paragraph.).

Anyways, lets say this does happen, wonder if this could end up being phase 3 at Hollywood studios. And i wonder how that would impact the guardians to epcot rumors.

It's possible but doubtful that the rumor would be that off. And it's just a rumor so it might never happen. All we can do right now is speculate.

By the time this happens if it happens it's likely that guardians is already underway at Epcot.

Which is why I compared it to the Jungle book - which was almost entirely CGI/animated yet still got great reviews (and quite honestly was pretty damn good). It had a single human in it - but though they called it "Live Action" it really wasn't. I think unless proven otherwise that Favreau will use the same template.

I don't like being down on too many changes - but this really, really blows. (They already did away with the BB direct bus.) As @saskdw said - who wants to be waiting at a bus stop for 20 minutes in their bathing suits. This is after waiting at the TL or BB bus stops as well. That and all the money it costs to go to a water park for a day? I do not like this at all.
