What hotels are so close to SeaWorld that you can walk there easily?

Many years ago, we stayed at the Renaissance hotel and walked across the parking lot to SeaWorld. Is there another hotel that's located that close or almost as close?
Thanks for any info.
We are planning a trip around Dec. 1st and 2nd.

These are the major hotels surrounding SeaWorld. In theory, each of these hotels would be within a 20-minute walk of the SeaWorld entrance. Although I believe this information is accurate, I'd highly recommend confirming with the hotel prior to making a reservations.

  1. SeaWorld Main Entrance
  2. Hilton Grand Vacations at SeaWorld
  3. Staybridge Suites Orlando Theme Parks
  4. Hampton Inn & Suites at SeaWorld
  5. Hilton Garden Inn at SeaWorld
  6. Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld
  7. Extended Stay America (6443 Westwood Blvd)
  8. Extended Stay America (6451 Westwood Blvd)
  9. Hawthorn Suites Convention Center
  10. Best Western Plus Convention Center
  11. DoubleTree at SeaWorld
Note: There really are two Extended Stay America hotels next to each other. Also, there is an access road that runs between the cluster of hotels at the top (8-10) down to Sea Harbor Drive. (You can see it using "Bird's eye" view on the interactive map.) I'd verify that the road is accessible before booking one of those hotels.

We booked a night at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Orlando at Seaworld. From the description it sounds like it's very close but I don't see it listed on the post above. It was listed on the Seaworld site. Anyone have any reviews or thoughts on that hotel?

The is a Fairfield Inn and a SpringHill Suites on the east side of SeaWorld. I debated putting them on the map, but opted not to because the walking distance was over 20 minutes. But, that was just an arbitrary cut-off.

According to Bing Maps, the walk from the Fairfield Inn is 22 minutes.

I've never stayed at any of these hotels, so I can't help with reviews.

Check them out. Here's a quote from their site ....."Exclusive benefits for registered guests include free transportation to SeaWorld® Orlando, Aquatica, Discovery Cove & Universal Studios Florida® (reservations required), SeaWorld Quick Queue*, early entry to SeaWorld & Aquatica on select dates, park discounts and more! *Limited availability. "

I am staying at the Fairfield now. It would be a long walk, because while it is literally across the street, it's the back side with no entrance. It is closer to aquatica. There is a free shuttle to both parks, that runs five times a day right now. Hotel is fine, but nothing fancy. However, unlike Renaissance, no resort fee or fee for Internet, plus free breakfast. There's also a bunch of restaurants in front, including Friday's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera, mellow mushroom, and Starbucks.

Thank you for the info! The free breakfast and no resort fees is part of why I picked it. I will have my car so driving to the park isn't a huge deal if I need to. The cost was fantastic as well. It is costing me $122.63 after tax!

I stayed at the Doubletree Sea World last July, and it was wonderful. The I-Drive Trolley made getting to Sea World very easy. The Renaissance Inn is way closer, and walkable. I didn't see any other hotels that were really walkable, though. Not sure which other hotels offer them, but I know the Renaissance and Doubletree both offer front of line passes to their guests for Sea World if you go to their concierge office. It's a good deal.

I stayed at both Extended Stays on Westwood blvd, - they were easily walkable (10 minutes max)- if you take the cut through by the Doubletree and walk through the parking lot of Seaworld.
