Candlelight Processional at EPCOT

I called a week or so ago and asked about this since some days no narrator is listed and was told that it is usually bc the celebrity that is their first choice hasn't confirmed yet but they do have back up narrators in the works. I hope this is true and we will see an update soon bc the dates I will be there have no one listed but Meredith Vieira and ....well.....I hope someone else comes the other days!!

we also do the dinner package, but then go the next night and walk up...if there are no seats then we just stand in back and watch

I was wondering about which narrators it was possible to walk up to see. I know every time I've been, it's always when NPH is there & walk ups are not possible, really. But I wonder about someone like Meredith Vieira, if it's easier to do & what the wait would be like or if there would even be any room last minute to stand in the back to watch.

We are going to be there (again) in November/December. During that trip it seems that the following will be narrating:
  • 11/25 - 11/27 - Steven Curtis Chapman
  • 11/28 - 12/01 - Neil Patrick Harris
  • 12/02 - 12/03 - Whoopi Goldberg
I have never heard of Steven Curtis Chapman, but apparently he is a Christian Singer/Songwriter.
I know who Neil Patrick Harris and Whoopi Goldberg are.

I like Whoopi Goldberg in her movies, but that's about where it ends. The more I see her in her TV Talk Show and her views on things (politics and otherwise) I am not a big fan of hers. Like I said, I don't know Steven Curtis Chapman, so I can't say either way. I don't have an issue with Neil Patrick Harris. Still remember him as Doogie Howser.

It sounds interesting. Something I think I would like. have to consider this for our Nov/Dec trip.
Steven Curtis Chapman is an amazing singer/songwriter and ambassador for Christ. He has an amazing story. Were seeing him on Nov. 27th. So excited.

The twi times we walked up and got a seat was Steven Curtis Chapman (last show), and Edward James Olmos (I thought he was great)

With more narrators announced, there are some that I doubt will be walk ups like Robby Benson & Ming-Na Wen even for the last show.

I just checked and for Christmas eve we have Agent Melinda May of S.H.I.E.L.D. The lovely Ms Ming Na Wen

My wife found something on same lines as Denise has posted the link to and now we are going to spend some previously planned on down days at EPCOT exploring food and other holiday fare

I am sooo bummed we cancelled our annual "just the wife and I" December trip for 3 nights to do the Christmas "thing" and the candlelight processional.....we took an impromptu trip in July and knew we would have to forego this small trip in order to make that last minute trip work.....NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN!!!....have a June trip to boardwalk booked in June, and then back on the short Christmas trip rotation next year!!!!
