I'm not certain it was a glitch, as the landing page for the deal used to explicitly tell you how you could get the deal with a package, OR by searching for just the tickets ("Activities"). Now the latter instructions have been wiped from the page. I'm guessing it was just way more popular than they expected/budgeted

When you get them from Southwest Vacations depends on what dates you had entered when you purchased them. They send the code to you 60-65~ days before your selected travel dates. If those travel dates were within the next 60 days, you should get the code the following morning after your purchase.

That explains it. My travel dates are still almost six months away. I was afraid the price will go up if I tried to change the dates on checkout.

Some people in the Theme Park board thread in this situation had luck calling Southwest Vacations' customer support, and telling them that their travel dates had moved up.
Their post was:

"I went ahead yesterday afternoon and called SWV back and told them we changed the dates of our trip. I didn't have to cancel my original purchase, the rep just changed my dates and issued me a new confirmation (with same original confirmation number) and this morning at 10:15 I had the itinerary with barcode!"

Worth a try if you are uncomfortable waiting for the code.

This wasn't a glitch. It was an intended sale on tickets. They are 100% normal MYW tickets. Link and are good until you use them. It was closed down as an Activities Only option because it did too well and the deal with Disney only covered so many tickets.
