I'm considering doing this one night. Is it worth the expense? From the pictures I've seen it looks like it might be similar to the Mai-Kai in Ft. Lauderdale.

I enjoyed it but last time I went has to be close to ten years now

Or maybe it was less than that

Life is a blur since I go to Orlando frequently

We think it's worth it.

Food is good, cocktails were strong, and show was excellent.

We went in January, but I will say the mai tais were not at all strong. I probably drank six of them over the course of the luau and I never felt like I'd ingested any alcohol at all. I should have opted for the wine.

I think I will go for it. It will be my birthday week, so I want to do some things for me. (Although I'm sure the rest of the family will enjoy it too.) I won't be consuming any alcohol. I'm concentrating on the food and show.

The food was good, I enjoyed the show. It's a theme park luau, so not super authentic, but it's definitely entertaining and we liked it. It was my birthday present from my MIL and I'm really glad we did it.

I only complain about the alcohol because it's cited as part of why the cost is so high.
