Taxis with car seats

Planning our itinerary for our May trip. Staying at Contemporary. We'd like to do one evening at Disney Springs. We'll probably just take the bus to Disney Springs, but I'm thinking that by evening, it would be so much easier to just get a cab back to the resort. Our daughter will be 11 months old at the time so a car seat will be needed. Has anyone gotten a cab with a car seat before? Does this need to be scheduled in advance?

Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in here, but from what I understand, cabs and Ubers will only provide a forward-facing seat, which obviously won't work for your daughter. Maybe there's something out there I haven't heard of though.

We took one (mears) from WDW to Sea World last trip, though my littlest one was 20 months. This was a tough one for me, as I'm a stickler with carseats so using one that wasn't my own (as in, I didn't know the history of) was hard for me, but we simply couldn't bring the carseat for that one day when we were flying cross country with 12 people and our stuff. We did let them know when we scheduled that we'd need a seat. I was pleasantly surprised that the seat they brought looked brand new to me. I'm not sure it had ever been used. And it was a convertible seat, so we could use it rear facing.
