Gringotts strategy when IOA is EE park every day

We will be at Uni tomorrow through Wednesday (yay!) and IOA is the EE park. We want to ride Gringotts, but aren't sure if we are better off going to EE and taking HE over to ride Gringotts or if we should go to US in hopes they open early. Best plan? Thanks!

If you want to be among the first on Gringott's, get to US early...most of the time, it will get you to Diagon Alley before it is flooded by those riding the Hogwarts Express from Hogsmeade. This is not 100% guaranteed, as you never know how many determined people will get to US early for the same reason...if you are among the first, you should have no issue.

Or, you can go EE at IOA, check out Hogsmeade and get to the HE early.

Ultimately, you are not going to be too bad off as long as you get there early.

Same situation this week. We rode FJ and didn't get to the train until just about 9 am. We got to US at 9:15 and line in Gringott's took about 25 minutes. Today I rode FJ and got in line for the train at 8:30 am. They didn't start letting people check in until about 8:45 and the first train ran about 8:55. I got on the second train (I think they didn't sent the first train completely full) and went to Gringott's and waiting no more than 10 minutes. Then rode again this time in single rider and was done by 9:40. It was fairly busy today too. Of course if you have to check a bag it will take longer since that is a mess.

We always do rope drop for the park we want to hit first, whether it's EE or not. I have heard just too many iffy things about trying to get the train over. We usually end up doing EE one morning and regular opening the next. It's nice, because you get to sleep in a bit on the non-EE day.

We ended up riding FJ and getting in line for the train about 830 (we were the very first people in line). They didn't let us on the train until 855 and it left at 9. Gringotts broke down right when the trolls showed up and we sat for about 10 minutes (they turned lights on after about a minute). Lights stayed on for the next 1/3 of the ride and then finally went off for the end. We got a golden fastpass. 2nd and 3rd day we went ahead and slept in, because I have teens lol.
